"You're so bad," Skylar blushed, continuing to stare lovingly at Logan. "Logan, if you ever found out I lied to you, would you be mad at me?"
Logan paused for a moment before pulling her into his arms. "As long as you're not seeing another man behind my back, nothing else matters," he declared possessively.
Skylar giggled into his shoulder. "You'd better keep that promise."
Stella didn't have to wait long before Jasper walked over carrying his dessert. "Stella, are you absolutely sure you don't want any? It's delicious!"
Stella shook her head. "I'm lactose intolerant. I can't have dairy."
"That's a shame!" Jasper said, shooting a glance at a nearby table. "Are all couples this grossly affectionate? When I walked in, I saw that guy and girl practically wrapped around each other over their food. Disgusting!"
Stella knew Jasper was talking about Logan and Skylar. She managed a weak smile. "Just ignore them. Let's see what you want to order."
After ordering, Stella listened to Jasper complain about his school drama as they ate.
Halfway through their meal, Skylar and Logan walked over to say they had finished eating and were heading out.
Leaning against Logan's chest, Skylar casually complimented Jasper. "He really is Mr. Fuller's brother. So handsome."
Jasper didn't even bother acknowledging her. He turned to Stella and said loudly, "Stella, Jarrod's black card doesn't have a limit, so we are only buying the most expensive stuff later!"
Stella wasn't sure why the young master was suddenly in such a foul mood, so she just offered Skylar an apologetic smile.
Skylar didn't seem to care. She just said, "Enjoy your meal," and walked out of the restaurant with her arm around Logan's waist.
"Humph. I don't even know what she's showing off for!"
The young master scoffed disdainfully. "Her boyfriend isn't nearly as tall or handsome as Jarrod. He just has paler skin, but why does a guy need skin that pale anyway? He's just a pretty boy!"
Stella's mood had been a bit heavy, but Jasper's rant genuinely made her laugh. "They didn't even do anything to you. Why the sudden hostility?"
Jasper looked like he wanted to say something else, but ultimately just gave another scoff and went back to aggressively eating his food.
