Hearing her title, Mr. Wallace's attitude softened marginally, though he continued to point a condescending finger at Stella.

"As your team leader, it's her job to hash out the launch and promotion pipeline with us. Instead, she dumped us and sent a bunch of nobodies to run the meeting! When I raised an objection, her attitude was incredibly hostile! You tell me, how is this going to be handled?"

Stella knew Chloe wouldn't take her side. The last time a distribution channel gave her trouble, Chloe had blamed her without even asking for the facts. This time was the perfect excuse.
