Dominic gently touched the little boy’s round head, then turned to the doctor.

“Why is he this weak?”

The moment the question left his mouth, Dominic realized how pointless it was.

If the child hadn’t been this weak, would Chris have hidden him for so long?

Fabian was trapped in Liono City now. He had to have another way out.

Winter quietly decided to probe for information.

“How much longer are we going to walk?”

Fabian walked beside her at an unhurried pace, as if they were taking a nighttime stroll through the mountains.

“I won’t let you suffer for too long, Ms. Scott. A helicopter will be here to pick us up soon.”

Winter’s heart tightened.

She looked toward the endless mountains.
