Fluffy Mates Chase Their Boss on Survival Show

Chapter 350 A Surprise

Oliver sniffled, looking utterly wronged. “It’s nothing, Layla. Don’t blame George. He probably just doesn’t like me.”

George’s eyes nearly bugged out of his head when he heard that.

Are you kidding me? A prince, and he’s pulling that poor-little-me act!

He was convinced Oliver was going to be the death of him one day.

He leaned in close and hissed through gritted teeth, “What the hell are you playing at?”

Oliver’s eyes went even glassier.

Layla sighed. She knew exactly what had happened. She also knew Oliver had started it by needling George.

She cleared her throat and fixed them both with a stern look. “You two can’t go a single day without picking a fight. Is this some kind of daily routine for you two?”

They caught the edge of real frustration in her voice. The two of them glared at each other, then moped like kids who’d just been told off, too scared to say another word.

Seeing those two gorgeous faces looking so pitiful, Layla felt her fake anger crumbling.

She let out a heavy sigh and rubbed her temples. “Can you two just give me a break for once? No more fighting, and definitely no more trying to beat each other up. Learn from Yates. Look how sweet and well-behaved he is.”

Yates froze when he heard Layla praise him. Then he shot a wary glance at the two men in front of him.

Being praised by Layla in person, especially right in front of these two jealous lunatics, was not a good thing.

Sure enough, when he looked at George and Oliver again, they were both glaring at him in a rare moment of total agreement.

Yates silently fell into step behind Layla, desperate to get as far away from the danger zone as possible.

George and Oliver watched him trail after her and exchanged a look.

“How about we put our rivalry on hold and deal with the outsider first?” George offered, his tone softening.

Oliver was quiet for a moment. Yeah, he’d told Yates he could join, but the truth was, the competition was already brutal.

Layla clearly favored Shane the most. Carson’s build and Liam’s personality both had a strong pull on her. Oliver and George each had their own strengths, but they overlapped in too many ways. That was the real reason the two of them were always at each other’s throats.

She’d just figured out how to solve the jealousy problem. If they had enough energy to bicker, they had enough energy to work.

She grinned and clapped her hands to get everyone’s attention. They all turned to look at her, curious.

Layla cleared her throat and said, “I’m heading out for a bit. I’m going to invite Emily and her group over for dinner. Make sure the place looks perfect while I’m gone. Whoever does the best job gets a surprise.”

Layla was going to give someone a surprise! Everyone’s eyes lit

George and Oliver practically tripped over themselves rushing over to her. “What kind of surprise?” they asked, their voices buzzing with curiosity.

Layla put on her most serious face. “If I tell you now, it’s not a surprise. Be good, stay here, and I’ll be back soon.”

The second she was out the door, they all looked at each other, then spun around and threw themselves into their chores.

One comment on the live chat stood out from the rest.

[Layla really knows how to handle them. Look at those males. She’s got them wrapped around her finger.]

Layla hummed a tune as she reached the edge of Emily’s camp.
