"It might not be a person," Sienna Sloan said faintly.
"Sometimes, objects with the wrong energy field can affect a person's mood, especially in a state of subconscious openness like hypnosis."
Mrs. Zeller frowned and immediately ordered the maids, "Hurry! Search everything in the room carefully, especially the items Maxwell uses daily!"
The maids didn't dare to waste a second and immediately began tearing the room apart.
Sienna stood to the side, observing them with a calm expression.
Suddenly, a young maid pulled an intricately embroidered sachet from the inside of Maxwell Zeller's pillowcase.
Sienna took it, carefully sliced the sachet open, and poured out the contents—it was entirely composed of herbal remedies.
"Found it." She pointed to one of the herbs. "This is what's been affecting Maxwell."
"What is that?" Mrs. Zeller asked.
Sienna replied, "Herbal medicine relies on the balance of properties. This contains a dose of Rosemary Seeds. It seems harmless, but it severely clashes with the other ingredients.
Long-term exposure doesn't soothe the nerves; it disrupts the mind. In severe cases, it causes hallucinations and erratic behavior."
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Zeller's face instantly turned deathly pale. She clutched her chest, struggling to breathe, and a nearby maid hastily handed her the Nitroglycerin Pills.
After she caught her breath, Mrs. Zeller's gaze turned sharp. "Who is it? Who is trying to murder my grandson!"
The young maids collapsed to the floor in sheer terror, vehemently denying any knowledge of it.
Mrs. Zeller refused to believe them and ordered that the entire group be punished.
Sienna interjected, "They're the ones responsible for Maxwell's daily care. If something like this happens, they would naturally be the first suspects. They wouldn't take such a stupid risk."
The maids looked at Sienna with boundless gratitude. Mrs. Zeller finally calmed down and turned to her. "Sienna, do you know who the culprit is?"
