The next morning, the moment Audrina stepped out of the guest room, she spotted a car key resting on the table.

Willow was sitting cross-legged on the sofa, nursing a cup of coffee. She gestured toward the key with her chin. "Take it."

Audrina picked it up to examine it.

It was a neon green fob with a McLaren logo, obnoxiously flashy.

Willow took a sip of her coffee. "Just use it for now. It's doing nothing but collecting dust in the garage anyway."

Audrina hesitated.

Knowing exactly what she was thinking, Willow rolled her eyes. "Just make do with it. Give me a few days and I'll find you something more subtle."

Audrina didn't argue further. She dropped the key into her purse; her first priority was to go buy a new phone.

However, when she went down to the garage to retrieve the car, she was absolutely stunned.

The entire vehicle was wrapped in a fluorescent gradient film. From bumper to bumper, it gleamed in iridescent shades of green, practically screaming for attention.

...It didn't suit her personality at all, though it perfectly matched Willow's vibe.

Taking a deep breath, she opened the door and slid into the driver's seat.

The engine roared to life behind her. She shifted gears and pressed the gas.

The sports car shot out of the underground garage like a bolt of lightning.

It was way too flashy.

Just as she turned out of the apartment complex, she spotted the same G-Wagen from last night.

Slowing down, she rolled down her window.

Carter looked utterly exhausted. His hair was messy, and he looked like he had literally just crawled out of bed.

She pulled up beside him, giving him an amused look. "Coming to see Willow this early in the morning?"

"I'm not here for her," Carter yawned.

Reaching into his passenger seat, he grabbed a small box and handed it through the window. "I'm here for you."

Confused, Audrina took it.

"Sebastian told me to give this to you," Carter explained.
