It had to be her, right? Intentionally flaunting it to assert dominance over his mistress?
The thought made Sebastian grip his glass so hard the stem nearly snapped.
Forcing a chilling smile, he drawled, "Looks like you've been enjoying yourself, Zachary."
Zachary paused, following his gaze. Quickly pulling his collar back up, he chuckled. "What can I say? She's way too clingy."
Keeping his face perfectly blank, Sebastian downed his champagne in one go.
Was Audrina clingy?
Was she seriously still harboring feelings for him?
The memory of her flippant remark from the other night suddenly echoed in his head: *'Yeah, it was great.'*
His throat worked as he swallowed the bitter taste, dropping the empty glass onto a passing waiter's tray.
After a brief moment of deliberation, he said, "Let me ask you something."
Seeing his rival looking incredibly grim, Zachary sobered up immediately. "What?"
Sebastian shot a quick glance over his shoulder in the direction Audrina had gone.
"Outside."
They stepped out onto the open deck, the fierce sea wind whipping at their clothes.
The sky was pitch black. Sebastian lit a cigarette, the smoke instantly snatched away by the gale.
"What is it? Did you go bankrupt? Did your family write you out of the will?"
Sebastian stared out at the pitch-black ocean, entirely ignoring the taunts.
Then he asked, abruptly, "How do you make a woman feel good?"
Zachary blinked.
And then—
He burst into hysterical laughter.
Bending over, he clung to the railing as he wheezed, his shoulders shaking with amusement for a solid thirty seconds.
"Wait, are you serious?"
Sebastian continued to smoke, his expression lethal.
Once Zachary had finally laughed it out, he straightened up and slapped him on the shoulder. "You need to ask that? The most eligible bachelor in the city, carrying around a face like that, and you're telling me you don't know how to please a woman?"
"Who is it?" he rapidly fired off questions. "Which family is she from? Is she here tonight? Is she the one you mentioned on that interview? Did you get her? Did you sleep together? Or wait, did you try and she wasn't into it?"
Taking mental notes, Sebastian asked, "And then?"
Still riding the high of his afternoon hookup.
He continued enthusiastically, "Take your time. Watch how she responds. If she tenses up, stop and let her adjust. And when she loses control and starts clawing up your back, just deal with the pain."
Sebastian was now gripping the railing so tight his knuckles were white. His expression was a mask of icy calm, but his jaw was clenched hard enough to snap.
The mere thought of Audrina in bed with this bastard was driving him insane. He wanted nothing more than to chuck Zachary straight into the ocean.
She hadn't scratched his back.
So he demanded, "She scratches you?"
"Yeah. When they're enjoying it, they scratch," Zachary bragged. "You'll find out eventually."
Vera frequently left red welts down his spine.
Sebastian had heard enough. "I got it."
He turned to leave.
"You still haven't told me who it is!" Zachary yelled after him.
Sebastian didn't look back. "I'll introduce you next time."
