Aethelgard: The Survival Game
Chapter 101 The Glass Greenhouse Is Finished
Chipe couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement.
But before she went to check out her Slime Cabin, there was one more thing to take care of.
She posted the streetlights for sale on the server-wide trading interface and in the advanced trading group.
Chloe: [Selling streetlights. They work great as light sources. Check out the sample photos below.]
The system always had a built-in photo feature, so everyone could easily share their own pics in the group chat.
Plus, she never had to worry about doctored images or getting scammed with fake listings.
Carpenter Soul was always showing off the wooden furniture he made in the group chat.

a day like this, with thick fog and the sky hovering between dusk and darkness/selling a light source was perfect timing it really stood out.
Streetlights were Common-tier items, and since everyone already had their own light sources, Chloe’s price was pretty high for something so basic.
Chloe barely had time to post the streetlights with the system’s auto-photo before someone placed an order.
The notification read: [You’ve received 3 cubic yards of soil.]
Chloe walked over to the Arcane Workbench and placed an energy crystal on it-one she’d just crafted today in the High Heat Metallurgy Workshop.
It was a Rare energy crystal.
Just as she set the crystal down, a weird little hand suddenly reached out from inside the Arcane Workbench, moving lightning-fast, and whisk

Twenty-four streetlights would keep the Arcane Workbench working overtime until 2 AM-eight hours straight.
But the Arcane Workbench looked like it really needed that energy crystal. It paused for a moment, then gave in.
Turned out, the Arcane Workbench clearly had a thing for pure energy crystals-way more than those elemental or magic
cores.
After all, the Arcane Workbench could actually upgrade itself.
Even if it wasn’t running any jobs, Chloe was planning to toss it some energy crystals as a treat anyway.
After using up the materials for 24 streetlights-120 units of Common Wooden Logs, 24 iron ingots, 48 stone blocks, 72 Charcoal, and 24 Glass Panes-Chloe listed them for sale directly on her personal page,
When Chloe opened the server-wide chat to make a trade, she noticed AAA Weapon Depot had sent her over twenty
messages.
The first few were all about haggling, but by the end, it looked like they’d run out of steam and just agreed to her price. They even sent over two Rare weapons ahead of time.
Chloe sent the 20 units of Rare refined iron she’d gotten today straight to AAA WeaponDepot.
Then, she replied with a laid-back message: [Or Premium weapons work too. 20 Rare refined iron for 5 Premium weapons, or 10 Common ones.]
AAA Weapon Depot: [Why didn’t you say so earlier?]
Chloe realized that enchanting was way harder than she’d thought, so she was ready to settle in for the long haul.
Once she posted the trade, she didn’t have to painstakingly check every single message anymore. That was the second minor tweak today, apart from the system updating the tactile feedback feature.
The closer it got to the end of the newbie period, the more polished the system became.
Chloe listed the items for sale and didn’t bother checking them again. She kept her cool and slowly made her way to the glass greenhouse.
In the thick fog, the greenhouse-with glass covering half its walls-stood right next to the Slime Cabin.
The walls were snow-white, and each huge glass pane was fitted so perfectly that the seams between them were almost invisible.
With the streetlights glowing and mist swirling in the night, the glass greenhouse looked like a crystal-clear dewdrop, resting quietly in her land.
Chloe could already imagine how beautiful it would be on a sunny day, with sunlight pouring through the glass.
Did I really expand my territory, or is it just mu nation?’ Chloe wondered to herself.
The glass greenhouse was way bigger than the Slime Cabin.
It covered almost a quarter of her land-an entire stretch made up of perfectly joined Glass Panes, with one side facing the fire-infused soil and all the plants outside.
Chloe adjusted the stone path a bit, making room for the glass greenhouse.
Maybe it was thanks to the composite House Design blueprint, but when she built the glass greenhouse, it seemed like the Sline Cabin’s materials got updated as a bonus.

The cabin’s windows had also been swapped out for Sulfur-Crystal Glass, sparkling clear and brilliantly bright.
There was a glass door on the outside of the greenhouse. When Chloe opened the door from the Slime Cabin, she noticed that what used to be a solid wall now had a doorway, connecting directly to the inside of the greenhouse.
Chloe froze the moment she saw the glass greenhouse-she was totally speechless.
