Juno replied, "Community college."

It made sense that it was an arrangement by the Corrington family.

He vaguely remembered that Juno had already earned her Ph.D. by the time she was eighteen. Going to a community college was a complete waste of her time.

Juno glanced at Miles. "Take good care of your boss."

Miles bowed his head. "Understood."

"What time are you coming tomorrow?" Chuck sat up straight, his gaze fixed intensely on Juno.

Juno thought about it for a second. "Not sure."

When night fell, Juno returned to campus.

Little did she know, Wyatt was waiting for her at the main gate.

Seeing her return, he closed the distance in a few quick strides. "Juno!"

Wyatt was thrilled; even in the pitch-black night, his eyes shone brightly.

The Taekwondo Club had been saved.

"Thank you so much."

Juno kept her long strides toward the dorms. "You're welcome."

"Are you sure you won't consider joining the Taekwondo Club?"

"Yeah."

"Alright."

Even though Juno's answer was exactly what he expected, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

Wyatt stood there for a while after walking her to her dorm building before finally leaving.

As soon as he got back to his room, his roommates interrogated him.

"Wyatt, tell us the truth. Do you have a thing for Juno?"

"Juno's got a great figure and she's really pretty. If you want to go for it, do it."

Wyatt's expression softened briefly before he smiled faintly. "Stop joking around. She'd never go for a guy like me."

One of the guys intentionally prodded, "Is that so? Guess I'll shoot my shot then."

"No!"

The word burst out of him before he could think.

As the final syllable hung in the air, the entire dorm looked at him with knowing, teasing grins.

Wyatt pursed his lips. After thinking about it all night, he decided he was going to pursue her.

The next day in class, wherever Juno went, Wyatt followed like a shadow.

During lectures, he sat right next to her.
