Tristan silently sat down and hastily threw a jacket over himself, although it hardly made him look presentable.
Juno, utterly unfazed by their state, walked Elara in.
"She's crashing here with you guys for a bit."
"Is that really a good idea?"
"That sounds extremely inconvenient."
For once, the two men, who rarely agreed on anything, were perfectly in sync.
Juno gave a slight nod. "I came here to inform you, not to ask for your permission."
Tristan and Kian fell silent.
Classic Juno!
"Look out for her."
The two men simultaneously looked at Elara, who was currently cowering like a frightened bird.
A woman... Ugh...
"What? Do you two have a problem with this?"
"Yes."
"Absolutely."
Juno wasn't in the mood to mince words. "If you have a problem, pack your bags and find another place to stay."
"No problem at all. We have plenty of spare bedrooms anyway."
Elara watched their dynamic with sheer curiosity. Tristan and Kian clearly looked like mature, powerful men of high status, yet they followed Juno's orders without question.
Incredible.
Juno didn't rush off this time. The four of them sat on the couch and launched a co-op game.
Kian glanced at Elara. "I really didn't expect this. You look completely harmless, but you're actually cracked at this game."
Elara smiled sweetly. "Juno is the #1 Valkyrie player on the national server. I'm nothing compared to her."
Tristan chimed in casually, "Don't compare yourself to Juno. She's not human."
After a few rounds, evening fell, and Morgan returned.
