The True Heiress: Legend Mode novel Chapter 113

Startled by the crash, the man quickly sat up. Before he could even process what was happening, Juno stormed in, grabbed a heavy vase, and smashed it over his head.

"Ah!"

Blood instantly poured down the man's face as he collapsed to the side, staining the pristine white bedsheets a dark crimson.

Juno shrugged off her trench coat and draped it over Elara. She then stepped toward the window, her eyes narrowing as she glared in a specific direction.

"Holy shit."

The paparazzo hiding in the distance quickly pulled his eye away from his camera lens. What just happened?

He peeked back through the viewfinder, locking eyes with Juno's terrifying, lethal glare. His heart skipped a beat, and he immediately ducked.

Under his watchful gaze, Juno viciously yanked the curtains shut.

Knowing he'd been spotted, the reporter hurriedly packed up his gear. But the moment he turned around, he found a man in gold-rimmed glasses standing silently right behind him.

"Who are you—"

Before he could finish, Morgan delivered a clean punch to his jaw.

Thud.

The reporter collapsed.

Morgan pulled out a handkerchief, calmly wiping his hands as his subordinates dragged the unconscious man away.

Back in the room, Juno stood by the bed, giving Elara time to compose herself.

Elara buried her face in the heavy duvet, sobbing quietly. It was a heartbreaking sound.

Hearing it, Juno delivered another swift kick to the massive lump of flesh bleeding on the floor.

When Elara finally sat up, her eyes were red like a frightened rabbit's. Her voice was hoarse. "Thank you."

Juno didn't reply.

Morgan sent in a female staff member with a fresh set of clothes.

Juno placed the clothes on the bed, her tone uncharacteristically soft. "Your clothes are here. Change and come out."

With that, Juno dragged the unconscious man out of the room, tossing a handful of hidden cameras she'd found onto the floor on her way out.

Outside, feeling disgusted, she went to wash her hands.

A few minutes later, the innocent, pitiful-looking girl emerged, wrapped securely in the clothes Juno had bought for her.
