Juno smiled without a word, turning to the sales associates. "Are the clothes packed?"
The associate quickly handed over the bags with both hands. "All set."
Juno took them and pulled Elara Thorne along, ready to leave.
Sienna Langley blocked their path. "Did I say you could leave?"
No one anticipated what happened next. Juno balled her hand into a fist and drove it straight into Sienna's face.
Sienna let out a muffled groan, stumbling back while clutching her bleeding nose.
Clearly, Juno had reached her absolute limit. She threw another punch, completely tossing aside any pretense of politeness.
"You think you're funny, don't you? Still going at it?!" She landed another blow.
Yara stood there dumbfounded, as if she were trapped in a fever dream.
Sienna cowered on the floor, shielding her head, a far cry from the arrogant girl she had been moments ago.
Juno looked down at her like she was an insect. "You hang around Rhiannon Corrington for a few days and suddenly think you're somebody? What an idiot."
With that, she literally stepped over Sienna's body.
That was the whole story—Sienna had simply refused to let it go.
Juno took a sip of her drink and said, "I don't know if I made myself clear enough?"
Larry Langley's face darkened, the atmosphere in the room instantly dropping to freezing.
He glared at his useless daughter. Too embarrassed to face Gwendolyn Jagger any longer, he scoffed and stormed out of the house.
Sienna looked from Juno to her departing father, panicked, and scrambled after him.
With the mess sorted, Juno was about to head out when Gwendolyn cleared her throat.
She paused and looked back.
Gwendolyn stared at her for a long moment before asking, "Juno, do you think it's possible that the Corrington family might go bankrupt from paying off your medical bills?"
