The Transactional Marriage That Imploded novel Chapter 10

Mathis, ever the doting partner, interrupted smoothly. "Ms. Baldwin, going forward, there’s no need to discuss technical details in investor meetings. Just focus on the market value."

Bianca replied crisply, "Understood, Mr. Jagger. Next time you hold a meeting that requires zero brain cells, leave me out of it!"

Her heart remained completely still; she was long used to Mathis's blatant impatience toward her.

Mathis frowned slightly, clearly displeased with her sharp retort.

Bianca simply ignored him.

The rest of the presentation was handed over to Timothy Wyndham, the Marketing Director, who explained the patent's immense market value. By allowing large models for medical, educational, and industrial sectors to run cost-effectively on domestic computing power, it opened up an incredibly lucrative B2B market.

Cillian beamed with absolute pride. To him, Bianca was a prodigy whose only flaw was her terrible taste in men, wasting three years on a dead weight.

Thankfully, the guy was dead now, and Cillian could finally fight alongside his brilliant junior.

The more Cynthia listened, the more furious she became. Wasn't Bianca just a pathetic housewife? When did she become so capable?

Tilting her chin up, Cynthia glared at Bianca with pure arrogance, her eyes screaming: No matter how talented you are, you’ll always be beneath me. A man like Mathis won't even spare you a second glance.

Bianca understood her silent taunt perfectly. She rolled her eyes in response and completely ignored her.

Once the meeting concluded, as Bianca was packing up her things, Cynthia tugged at Mathis's sleeve and whined affectionately, "Mathis, I want to be the Technical Director at Stellaride. You're the lead investor, you can make it happen."

Bianca's hands froze.

Mathis noticed, his eyelashes fluttering slightly.
