Jade slips inside silently, her eyes locking onto the neat pile of clothes Tara left on the bench. She scoops up every single garment.

Just as she grabs the last piece, Tara pulls the bathroom door open a crack.

"What the hell are you doing?" Tara demands, her sharp voice startling Jade.

But Jade recovers instantly, a nasty sneer spreading across her face. "You love acting so high and mighty, don't you? Let's see how superior you feel when you have to walk out of here naked!"

Clutching the clothes to her chest, Jade bolts for the door. "Come on out if you have the guts!" she calls over her shoulder. "Show everyone that perfect body of yours, you slut!"

Tara's expression darkens. Her first instinct is to chase after her, but she hesitates. Running out into the open completely bare could be playing right into Jade's hands. What if the psycho has a camera ready, or paid someone to wait outside?

Opting for safety, Tara steps back into the shower stall and locks the door securely from the inside. She reaches for her phone to call Bianca, only to realize her hands are empty. She had left her phone with Danny, assuming this would just be a quick rinse and change.

"Great. I just have to hope Bianca finishes flirting and comes looking for me soon," she mutters with a frustrated sigh.

They had shared this private suite earlier. Once Bianca is done with the hot springs, she will definitely come back here to change. Tara just has to wait for her friend to bring a fresh set of clothes.

After a few minutes of resting his eyes, he glances at the screen again. His brows furrow in a tight line.

"What is taking her so long?"

Living together has made him intimately familiar with her routines. Tara is never this slow when getting ready.

He checks his watch again, a nagging sense of unease settling in his chest. Because he has her phone, he can't even call her to make sure everything is alright.
