After Catherine leaves, Tara feels it is about time she headed out as well. Checking her watch, she realizes she has been here quite a while. She originally planned to come over, discuss their recent development projects, have a quick lunch, and leave within two hours. They are now far past schedule.

Katie notices Tara preparing to leave and immediately panics. She cannot bear to let her go yet! She feels like her son has not had enough time to talk to or even just look at the girl he likes. Furthermore, if Tara leaves now, finding a natural excuse to invite her back will be difficult.

It is no exaggeration to say Katie is healthier than ninety percent of the population. She clearly has great habits, sleeps well, and maintains a balanced diet. Plus, as a top-tier pharmaceutical researcher highly valued by the state, she obviously knows how to take care of herself and undergoes rigorous medical exams every year. Her constitution is likely even stronger than her son's.

When someone is this intensely enthusiastic and welcoming, playing hard to get or pretending not to notice would just be rude. Besides, she genuinely likes Danny. Given how sincere and kind he is, she does not want to let them down.

"That is wonderful! We absolutely have to meet up every weekend," Katie beams. "I still have so many things I want to consult you on. Your knowledge in scientific research is just astounding."
