Garnett pulled out his phone and dialed Lavinia's number. The automated voice chimed in his ear: "The number you have dialed is currently powered off."

Garnett called Larkin. "Get Heath Kenyon. I don't care how much it costs, lock him in."

"Understood." Larkin paused. "Mr. Harper, Mr. Kenyon's consultation fees are extremely high."

"I said, I don't care how much."

Three days later, Larkin brought Heath Kenyon to the Harper Group to meet Garnett.

Garnett had personally prepared coffee and was waiting. When Heath pushed the door open, a brisk draft followed him in.

"Mr. Harper, I didn't expect to actually be taking your business," Heath said, taking a seat across from him.

"You seem somewhat pleased," Garnett observed, watching him.

"Not at all." Heath smiled faintly. "I'm the kind of person who always hopes for reconciliation, not separation. If you don't want a divorce, I will do everything in my power to help you win."

He opened his folder. "I've reviewed the evidence Mrs. Harper has submitted so far. There is no substantive proof of infidelity. My assessment is that she's holding her trump cards, planning to play them at the last possible second so you won't have time to react."

Garnett said coolly, "I didn't cheat, so what evidence could there be?"
