Nikolai’s eyes reverted to their wolf–like red hue. “Shall we have our wedding night right now?”

“I…” Slowly, Ophelia took her hands off her face and muttered shyly. “Not in the cave, Lai Lai.”

“You want a nice, comfortable bed, don’t you?” His nose brushed hers as he whispered. “Or are you shy because we are not alone?”

Ophelia breathed softly and closed her eyes. She was becoming more and more affected by Nikolai every second. His voice, his touch, his gaze, his words… She felt exceptionally glad that this being was her husband. She wasn’t letting him go. Never.

“Nik!” Suddenly, Rhaziel, who was out at the cave’s entrance, shouted out.

However, Nikolai seemed to have become completely deaf because he did not respond to the demon’s call.

“Lia!” Called Esmeralda. She was on the far side of the cave’s entrance as

well.

Ophelia looked in that direction right away.

Nikolai grimaced deeply. He was going to make that dark fairy bleed to death!

When Sasha informed her that he had lost his voice, Ophelia was shocked

“It seems more like a long distance spell” Rhaziel grumbled.

“Which means someone tried to disrupt the marriage rituals?” Lev asked inquisitively.

Ophelia felt uneasy about this. What then, if the fire god had nothing to do with it?

Vladmir stopped, let out a long breath, and looked at Nikolai and Ophelia. He had seen their previous lives, but he didn’t know how to tell them. Whoever had caused the sighting had silenced him so he wouldn’t spill the beans.

“What’s wrong?” Nikolai asked. The seer’s eyes were lingering with intense anguish as he stared at him.

Vladmir forced a bright smile and shook his head, gesturing that he was alright.

something?”

Vladmir turned to face the demon. Rhaziel. He was Nikolai’s close friend in the previous life. Was it possible that Rhaziel was never killed? Rhaziel of the present was the same Rhaziel of the past! He didn’t want the past to repeat itself, which was why he had been fiercely guarding Nikolai’s incarnation.

Returning his attention to the paper, Vladmir slowly shook his head. They were all able to see that he was drawing absurdities.

“What are you doing?” Sasha asked dully.

“So far, all we know is that Nikolai will be employed as a tool to conquer Celestia and establish total darkness/as its dominion. The blood pearl, which Tiana, who is said to be dead, possesses, is the key to doing that.” Esmeralda began and sighed deeply.

“The moonstone and other hand is an act to strengthen a Novikov for sure and now that Alexander is dead, it exposes that he wasn’t the only mole.” Rhaziel continued, frowning.

“The sunstone…” Hesitantly, Esmeralda trailed off.

Lev’s gaze expanded. “Sunstone?!”

Ophelia put her palm on her chest and lowered her gaze. “What does the sunstone have to do with this?” Her booming growl of annoyance made her the center of attention for everyone.

“FireStorm?” Nikolai took a step toward her and pulled her hand from her chest. “Do you have a history with sunstone?”

“Stop!” Lev became enraged and hurried to Ophelia, yanking her from Nikolai. “Do not ask her anything about that stone!” He bellowed angrily.

Lev felt shivers run down his spine as Nikolai’s eyes transformed into thick, black demon eyes with black veins growing beneath them.

“Give me back my wife!” He let out a loud, menacing growl.

Sasha’s eyes sprang wide in alert. “What are you doing, Lev?!”

Lew retreated a step, continuing to pull Ophelia, who was not resisting him.

Nikolai’s eyes dilated.

“She is not in danger, Nikolai! That is her brother!” Rhaziel yelled.
