110 Boom! And screams-
110 Boom! And screams
Nikolai, who had been sound asleep within the inn, was roused from his snooze when he smelled the unwelcome guests nearby.
Slowly, his blood-red eyes fluttered open. He was still inebriated, as evidenced by the swirl of darkness in his eyes. He sat down carefully, pulling his hair back slowly, and pursed his lips as they still slid back onto his forehead.
He called, “Ophelia,” as he looked all around the room. He was unable to
hear her heartbeat. She was absent from the inn. He then realized what had
happened, and he stood up. “FireStorm?!”
The room’s door opened, allowing a witch to enter. Indifferently staring at her, Nikolai’s eyebrows were slightly lifted by the blood oozing from her lip.
She called, “Hello Nikolai,” greeting Nikolai with a smile.
Nikolai winced and slouched back on the bed. “Where is my FireStorm?”
The witch instantly exhibited confusion. “What?”
Nikolai moaned and, this time more at easely lying back on the bed, covered himself with a blanket. “Bring me my FireStorm.”
The witch laughed incredulously. “Do you think I’m just here for laughs?”
“Talking in that tone to me…” Nikolai stumbled and shifted his attention to the witch as his eyes took on the appearance of a thick, black demon. “Did you harm my wife in any way?”
“Wife?!” The witch was surprised.
Infuriated, Nikolai stood up from the bed, baring his teeth and massaging his neck. “You idiots surrounded the inn, but most of you are inside. Are you sure you can harm me?”
110 Boom! And screams
The Witch grinned. “Your perception is quite good.”
In the space of a few seconds, Nikolai appeared in front of the witch and was firmly holding her by the neck. “Bring. Me. My. Wife.”
“It’s not difficult to provoke you.” The witch choked out.
“Hmm?” While simultaneously twisting her head, Nikolai cocked his head amusingly to the side. Before she could scream, he tore her head from her body and licked a bit of the blood that splashed on his face as he did so.
Sleepily releasing the head, Nikolai stood on top of the body and left the room, licking the blood from his fingers. “Where is she?” As he questioned and licked his lower lip, he started to go down the hallway with a thick, ominous mist trailing behind him and covering the ground he had just
crossed.
“I am unable to hear her heartbeat.” He remarked this as he crossed a
railing, giving him a clear view of the guests dining, drinking, and laughing as well as the half-naked and fully-naked women singing and dancing.
His lips twitched as he looked at the witches standing in the corners of the inn, all dressed in black. They weren’t particularly adept at concealment.
Sleepily yawning, Nikolai gripped the wooden railing. “She isn’t here.” He smirked as he noticed some witches staring at him from the staircase with curious eyes. Most likely, it was due to the blood on his face.
He waved to them, grinning. “Have you all seen my wife?”
They didn’t respond, and his smile disappeared. “Did you hurt her?” When he was asked, he split the railing in half.
“Did you?” Then, after disappearing from view, he reappeared in front of the witches, seizing one of them by the neck, snapping it, and yanking her head apart from her body.
The other witches started whispering and casting spells at Nikolai as they

descended the steps, but the gloom completely engulfed Nikolai’s body.
“This is bad,” A witch muttered to herself.
“He already appears agitated, we should go.” Another remarked uneasily.
“Yes, yes.” Another agreed.
“Let’s use what he’s saying against him.” One of them suggested bravely.
As the mist left Nikolai’s body, he glared at the witches with a bored expression. “Where is my wife?”
“She’s gone. We murdered her.” A bold witch made an announcement.
“Huh?” Nikolai’s eyes grew wider. “Dead?”
“How dare you idiots mislead me?” His face turned instantly enraged, and a dark mist erupted from him, engulfing the entire inn in total darkness.
The music stopped and the inn was filled with mutters and murmurs of
horror.
Nikolai appeared right on the inn’s roof, surrounded by ominous wisps. He turned to look at the moon, which was hidden by the clouds.
“Those peasants want to pass away so soon.” He smirked slyly as he tsked, and lowered his gaze to the dancing and jubilant crowd below.
“Nikolai!” Rhaziel yelled loudly.
The demon was soaring toward Nikolai when he turned to gaze at the sky. He didn’t look content. He touched down in front of Nikolai, then his wings disappeared.
“What’s happening? There are witches present in the city.” He said anxiously.
“I know two things that are going to happen today, my dear friend.” Nikolai whispered with his arm around Rhaziel’s shoulder.
110 Boom! And screams
“What? Are you intoxicated?!” Rhaziel enquired, completely perplexed and
incredulous.
“Hear me out!”
Rhaziel nearly cried when he realized Nikolai was actually intoxicated. “What?” He enquired, displaying utter disinterest.
“Boom! and screams.” Rhaziel’s eyes widened as Nikolai growled before erupting into a dark, chuckling chuckle.
“Was there anything I missed?”
“They have no way out, I locked every window and door.” Putting his head on Rhaziel’s shoulder, Nikolai spoke casually, keeping his eyes closed.
Inside, at that very moment, there were loud shouts of terror and horror as well as a tremendous explosion-like sound. The ground beneath Rhaziel’s feet began to quake, and just as the entire structure started to crumble, they both disappeared and reappeared in a calm area of the city that was completely empty of any living thing.
“Nikolai?” Rhaziel called slowly, observing Nikolai’s weight pressing against him. He stared at Nikolai, utterly in shock. “You’re sleeping?
“I want Ophelia.” Nikolai murmured.
“You’ll see her soon.” Rhaziel grimaced and took a towel out of his pocket to wipe Nikolai’s face of the blood. “How on earth did you get so intoxicated?”
