The Lunar Queen
Chapter 115
When I walk into my altar my daughter Seraphina is there working on a spell.
“hello mother what are you doing here?” she says.
“I need to speak with Ingrid and Agnes about the prophecy” I say.
“I thought you found the girl?” she asks
“we did, but without the faction magic being unlocked and activated by her blood finding her means nothing” I say my tone tightening slightly despite myself.
“they are in the meeting room” she says
I turn and head towards meeting room and she follows behind me.
When I step into the room both witches straighten.
“Agora we weren’t expecting you back so soon” Agnes says
“well I discovered some new information about the girl” I say
They both sit up at that.
“she had found a witch” I say
“the bear prince has found her also” I say
“does she know of the rest of the prophecy involving the children?” Ingrid asks
“I’m not sure but if the bear prince has joined her it is only a matter of time before she does” I say
“how much time do we have?” Agnes
asks
“not much” I say my fingers curling slightly at my sides.
“the council still hasn’t found the runes, how are you two doing in finding it?” I ask
“not good, we have come up empty handed” ingrid says
“Keep looking, David gave the king two weeks to turn her over before he makes his next move, you have until then to tell me something, we need to find it before him” I say
“okay we will get the entire coven on it” Ingrid says

Chapter 115
“good and make sure he doesn’t get wind of this, if he finds out I am working against him he will kill us all” I say my voice dropping low, edged with real warning.
When I get back to the shop Jonathan is waiting outside leaning against the wall.
“what took you so long Agora?” he asks.
I freeze. Just for a second. Too still. Too aware.
Why is he here.
“beta, what can I do for you?” I ask
“my alpha needs a memory potion for Lyric” he says tapping the door.
“oh of course I have just the thing, come in” I say unlocking the door to my shop.
He stops in the doorway with the door open and doesn’t move.
Watching. Measuring. Not trusting.
Smipove.
watches my every movement like a hawk. I find the memory potion and hand it to him.
“this will work, it wears off after a month and will need to be given again” I say to him.
“good, keep us posted on Serena” he says before turning and walkinh out leaving the door open.
He doesn’t trust me.
I need to be more careful, if they find out my coven is actually working against them all of my planning will be for nothing.
I need that potion I gave Serena to do it’s job.
It wont kill her babies, it will magically speed up her pregnancy.
Force time forward. Force the future to come before she’s ready.
Giving me the opportunity to take the children even if I can’t get her, their blood will unlock the magic also.
Time is running out.
David thinks he’s in control.
The council thinks they’re playing both sides.

Chapter 115
The girl thinks she still has time to learn.
Im so close and I didn’t do all of this for nothing.
Because the moment her power fully awakens, the balance shifts in a way none of them understand yet-not David, not the council, not even the girl herself-and if I don’t move before that happens, then everything they think they’re fighting for, every throne, every alliance, every war they are preparing for, will become meaningless the second those children are born and claim a power that no one will be able to control.
