Chapter 252
Epilogue
Lyric POV
It’s been three months since Kairo moved in, and it has been nothing short of amazing. Some days it still catches me off guard when I wake up sandwiched between both of my mates and realize this is actually my life now.
Him and Cole are amazing together and great with the pups. Hannah follows Kairo everywhere, Ezra follows whoever is carrying snacks, and the triplets have somehow learned how to cause chaos together.
Two more wolves went missing while we were gone and then nothing. It’s been no incidents in months and we still have no idea
where to look for Warren. So we have been trying not to focus too much on it until we have something to go on.
That doesn’t mean we stopped preparing. It just means we finally learned how to live while preparing for war.
The Western kingdom has been thriving now that Kairo is back and I couldn’t be happier.
We finally set a date for the first meeting for the supernatural council which will happen after I have the twins.
Yes, twins.
Apparently Fate and Selene got together and decided sleep was no longer something I deserved.
So that brings us to seven already.
Obviously Selene hates me.
Everything has fallen into a comfortable routine and it’s been perfect.
“Hey love, are you ready to go?” Kairo asks peeking his head in.
I glance up from where I’m trying to convince Nova that seven children is enough.
“Yes I am,” I say.
Kairo walks over and helps me to my feet before pressing a kiss to my forehead. Three months later and he still looks at me like I hung the moon.
Tonight is the Moon Festival and we decided to celebrate with both kingdoms so I opened a portal in the garden giving both kingdoms the freedom to pass through to either kingdom freely.
The moment we step outside I smile. Wolves from both kingdoms fill the palace grounds. Children run through the gardens. Music echoes through the night air. Laughter comes from every direction.

Chapter 252
When we step out I see James and he comes to hug me.
“Hello cousin, this is great,” he says.
I smile.
“Thank you James, I’m glad you came, this is my mate Kairo,” I say and they shake hands and agree to catch up later.
We make our way through the crowd until we find Cole and the pups and we dance the night away and eat snacks all night.
At some point Hannah falls asleep on Kairo’s shoulder. Ezra is asleep across Cole’s lap. The triplets are somehow still awake and
throwing their toys at everyone.
For a moment I just stand there and watch them, my family, my mates, my children and now both of my kingdoms.
The life I almost never got to have.
When the moon is at its highest, the entire crowd lifts their heads and howls, giving thanks to Selene for blessing us all with life.
The sound rolls across both kingdoms.
Strong, united and hopeful.
Whatever the future holds, I know with my mates and our allies behind us we can handle it together.
Sélene said whatever is coming is unlike anything we have ever faced before.
Nova stirs in my mind waiting.
