“I heard everything,” William whispered. “Even when I was asleep, I heard voices.” He reached for my hand. “Thanks for stopping Mom.

William studied my face before reaching into his hospital pajama pocket. “I wanted to give you this later, but I should give it now.”

He pulled out a small USB drive and pressed it into my palm.

“What’s this?” I asked, surprised. “Aurora gave me a USB with her dance videos a couple days ago. More dancing?”
