be a Harvard University student? Impossible! “Chloe, did you hit your head? You got a zero on the exam; how can you even dream of attending a top university? Had Ethan arranged it? But that didn’t seem right.
“You don’t believe me? Harvard University’s business school doesn’t rely solely on scores. Brother pulled some strings. Jealous?”
Chloe, still fuming about the security camera incident, had channeled her anger into securing a spot at Harvard University’s business:
business school through Ethan’s connections. Alice understood. “Your business school‘ is just affiliated with Harvard University. With a zero, you wouldn’t get in! Even with Ethan’s connections, it’s impossible!”
Chloe was speechless, lacking confidence.
A girl in designer clothes, with obvious cosmetic enhancements, approached, radiating an air of superiority.“You country bumpkin, don’t embarrass yourself. People like you, who rely on grades. to get into Peking, will always be working–class. Our business school trains heirs, your future. employers!”
Alice had never heard such arrogant words. Did everyone in Peking flaunt their wealth like this? Everyone else lowered their heads; these students weren’t to be trifled with.
Chloe recognized the girl: Max Mo, the Garcia family heiress. She’d researched her classmates‘ backgrounds; there were only a dozen · new

Alice said coldly, “I didn’t say anything wrong.”
“Oh, really? If you don’t apologize,
will be miserable!”
Death hadn’t fazed Alice; this threat didn’t either. She took her documents and left, ignoring Max.
Max, used to getting her way, was furious. She turned to Chloe.“What’s her name?”
“Lu Alice. She had a bad reputation in high school. She had a boyfriend and ran away to live with him.”
“A little slut dared to challenge me! Alice, you’re dead!” Max felt humiliated. Her sister wast engaged to the Wilson heir; everyone in Peking respected her. A country bumpkin dared to look down on the business school?
Chloe watched Alice leave, a smug look on her face. Alice had angered a wealthy heiress on her first day; life wouldn’t be easy.
Alice found her dorm. It had bunk beds. She chose a bed and started unpacking. Two other students arrived with their parents. Alice was alone and had little
little luggage.
They introduced themselves. “I’m Lana Parker,” said the girl with short hair. The girl opposite said haughtily, “I’m Wang Juan. I’m used to living alone. Don’t disturb me.” Alice and Lana Parker exchanged glances; Wang Juan wouldn’t be easy. There were four beds; the last roommate hadn’t arrived.
That evening, the advisor called a meeting. Alice and her roommates went to the large lecture
hall. There was commotion; a group of students in blue uniforms arrived, acting entitled.
Lana Parker asked, “Who are they?”
Wang Juan boasted, “They’re from Harvard University’s business school! They’re all rich kids! We
can’t mess with them!
Seeing Chloe among them, Alice smirked.“Never heard of them.”
“That’s normal for you country bumpkins. The business school isn’t for everyone. You need the board’s approval and have contributed to the university.” Everyone looked at Wang Juan. She continued, “They don’t need degrees; they inherit family businesses. They’re here for networking, it’s not relevant to us.”
Alice learned about the business school’s inner workings. Chloe was admitted because of Ethan’s connections. His girlfriend’s family was influential.
After those students left, the others dispersed. Alice didn’t dwell on Chloe; she had too much to do. She had nothing to do with the Winds.
In the lecture hall, the advisor discussed important matters and added them to the class group chat. Someone posted a photo of Alice.
“Who is this beauty? I want her contact info!”
“Wow, she’s pretty! Class beauty!”
Lana Parker said, “Someone wants your contact info.”
Wang Juan said, “Alice, ignore them. Don’t give out your contact
info.”
Alice smiled, unfazed. She thought of Jack. Since he had someone he was pursuing, maybe she should move on. This made her feel melancholic.
After the meeting, everyone left. The business school students descended from the stairs, acting superior.
Chloe spotted Alice.“Max, look!”
Alice felt a strange atmosphere; she saw
was Chloe and Max. Fate
cruel!
Max sneered, “Oh, it’s you. You insulted the business school this afternoon and left without apologizing!”
Chloe said, feigning concern, “Apologize. It’ll be easier. I’m doing this for your own good!” She would tell Ethan that Alice had angered the Garcia family; he would get her expelled.

The readers' comments on the novel: Six Brothers Plea for Forgiveness (Alice)
This story is incomplete!!! You get us into the story then you leave us with a cliff hanger. Plus there's so many errors. It is obvious that English is second ( or 3rd) language. Author has mixed up names on several characters. Mixed up he/she , him/her. Made story too long by repetitive sentences. Made it look like the reader wasnt able to retain parts of the story by repeating certain aspects. I know authors do that but this author did it too often. This story lets you see what an eye for an eye would mean to some cultures. Needs MAJOR proof reading. Pro: great family drama. The one emotion you feel the most in this story is anger & discuss. There are a few funny (actually hilarious) parts in there. You want the good guy to win even though he may been at fault for something. You want justice for Alice and you want to see her independent from her brothers totally. I feel the author is on the right track but just needs to clean it up....
Except Alice's and Jack's names, all other names are mixed. And why there is LUKE'S FATHER instead of EATHEN...
I want yo ask that wht Alice's surname is keep on changing from Wolsh to Windham to Lu???? And Andrew to Garett? And Jane's name to Chloe as well...
