Julian Lester's tongue went stiff as he read the numbers. He stood there speechless, his mind entirely blank.
1.18%...
1.18%?!
While Leila, Dominic, and Julian stood dumbfounded, the technician couldn't help but exclaim, "This Arctigenin content is astounding. It's nearly double the pharmaceutical standard... Truly worthy of Averin's most established and competitive pharmaceutical enterprise. The Royce Group is the real deal."
The technician gave Melanie a thumbs-up in pure admiration.
"Is 1.18% for real?"
"It's a live test, how could it be fake?"
"Incredible! Unprecedented!"
"The previous 0.91% was already amazing. Who would have thought this batch would reach 1.18%?"
Industry professionals and the media alike gasped in awe.
Everett was equally incredulous.
Previously, the Royce Group had set the industry benchmark with 0.91% Arctigenin content in their Arctic Burdock Root, thanks to their exclusive nutrient solution and Apex Organics' Type-L Bio-Fertilizer.
But this time, without the Type-L Bio-Fertilizer, they were essentially fighting with one arm tied behind their back.
Yet Melanie had somehow delivered an even higher score.
Everett stared at Melanie, his gaze a mix of shock, admiration, and deep confusion.
He didn't understand...
How did she do it?
Then, he realized he wasn't the only one shocked. Leila, Dominic, Julian, and the surrounding crowd were all reeling.
Only Melanie and Preston remained utterly calm, as if this outcome was entirely within their expectations.
Soon, the technician returned with the Technical Director and the Quality Control Director.
"Miss, this report is generated in real-time. The raw data from the instrument is securely stored and cannot be altered," the Technical Director stated firmly.
Just as he finished, a booming voice rang out. "What's going on here?"
The newcomer was a formidable woman with a commanding presence, exuding absolute authority.
The three staff members immediately snapped to attention. "Ms. Carring!"
Ms. Carring nodded, her posture rigid. "What's all this commotion? Why is everyone gathered here?"
The Quality Control Director stepped forward, lowering his voice. "Ms. Carring, a client at the booth is questioning the test results, alleging data falsification."
"Oh?" Ms. Carring raised an eyebrow. "And who exactly is accusing us?"
The three employees immediately pointed in unison at Leila Langley.
