My Mate-1

Azriel’s heart thundered in his chest as he sped through the city streets, his mind a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. They had found her. After endless days of searching, they had finally found his second chance mate.
Thunder’s fierce growl reverberated in his mind, a relentless reminder of their primal instincts. But Azriel knew he had to tread carefully. His mate was human, fragile, and delicate compared to the world he inhabited. He couldn’t afford to scare her away.
As he pulled into the parking lot of the public park, Azriel’s senses were on high alert. His eyes scanned the area, searching for any sign of Tim or Lora. He noticed Tim, as he made his way
towards him, and to his surprise, next to him was Mary, the wife of his father’s late beta.
What was she doing here?
Azriel approached them with purpose, his steps measured and deliberate. Mary’s presence caught
him off guard, a stark reminder of his father’s legacy and the ties that bound them all together.
“Aunt Mary,” he greeted her with a nod, his voice a low rumble.
Mary’s gaze met his, her eyes filled with a mixture of apprehension and determination. “Azriel,” she replied, her voice steady despite the weight of the moment.
Turning to Tim, Azriel’s impatience got the better of him. “What did you find?” he demanded; his tone edged with urgency.
Tim glanced at Mary before turning back to Azriel. “We’ve located her,” he said, his voice tinged with relief. “But before this we need to tell you a story, and you need to promise that you will hear it
till the end without reacting or interrupting.”
Azriel clenched his jaw, a surge of frustration coursing through him. “Tell me everything,” Azriel
commanded, his voice firm and unwavering.
Mary’s voice trembled slightly as she recounted the tale, her eyes fixed on Azriel’s as if willing him to understand the gravity of the situation. “Six years ago, I found a girl, broken and alone,” she began, her voice steady despite the emotions threatening to overwhelm her. “She had been framed by her own sister, betrayed and banished by her pack, and rejected by her mate. Also, as if this was not enough, she lost her wolf in the process.”
Azriel’s brows furrowed in confusion, his expression one of impatience. “Why should I be interested in a rogue’s story, wolfless or not?” he demanded, his voice sharp with frustration.
Mary’s gaze hardened as she met his eyes, her tone unwavering. “Because that ‘wolfless’ girl, that

rogue, is Lora,” she declared, her words carrying the weight of undeniable truth.

Azriel’s breath caught in his throat, his heart pounding in his chest as the full weight of Mary’s
revelation hit him like a tidal wave.
“Lora… That’s impossible, she can’t be a rogue!” Azriel whispered her name, his voice barely audible as he processed the shocking revelation.
Tim watched the exchange in silence, his expression a mixture of concern and anticipation. He knew the significance of Mary’s revelation, the impact it would have on Azriel and Lora’s burgeoning connection.
Mary held Azriel’s gaze, her eyes filled with a mixture of compassion and determination. “She’s been through hell,” she said softly. “But she’s stronger than you can imagine. And now you understand why I will not disclose her location to you or Tim if you want to hurt her. She deserves better; she deserves happiness after all the suffering from her past. So, as now you know these things about her, you need to decide if you want her as your mate or not. And if the answer is no, then forget that you met her and go on with your life.”
Azriel nodded slowly, his mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions. Thunder roared in his head in agitation, becoming more and more agitated, until he stopped pacing in his mind and told him, “/ don’t care if she is a rogue, she is our mate, and we need our given mate, not a chosen one! Bring her
back to us!
Azriel was shocked by Thunder’s reaction as he realized in shock that he would accept someone
like her.
“Thunder, she is wolfless. You will never have a mate.” Azriel talked to him back in his mind.
