Revelation-1
After they arrived at the hospital for their shifts, Mary’s fingers trembled slightly as she dialed Tim’s number, her mind racing with worry and anticipation. After a few rings, he answered, his voice strained with exhaustion.
“Tim? It’s Mary,” she said, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her.
“Hey, Aunt Mary,” Tim replied, his tone weary. “How are you?”
Mary hesitated for a moment, taking a deep breath to steady herself. “I’m… I’m okay. How are
you?” she said.
After a short break, Tim replied, “I am exhausted as Azriel is relentless these days, but I can’t
disclose the reason.”
Mary glanced around the bustling hospital corridor, then lowered her voice. “Can we meet? There’s a coffee shop across from the hospital. Can you be there in an hour?”
“I really don’t have time, Aunt Mary. I am with James, and we need to find someone urgently.” He
replied in a tired voice.
“Please, Tim, it is important. See you in one hour, OK?”
There was a brief pause at the other end of the line before Tim responded. “Yeah, sure. I’ll see you
there.”
As Mary ended the call, a sense of relief washed over her. She knew she could count on Tim. After one hour, as she made her way towards the coffee shop, one thought was killing her. “Why was Azriel searching for Lora?”
Tim arrived at the coffee shop with heavy bags under his eyes, his usual vibrant energy dampened by exhaustion. Mary’s concern deepened at the sight of him, and she wasted no time in asking what was troubling him.
“Tim, you look exhausted. What’s going on? I hope no more rogue attacks,” Mary asked, her voice
laced with worry.
Tim hesitated for a moment before responding, his expression guarded. “I can’t really talk about it, Aunt Mary. It’s… complicated.”
Taking a deep breath, Mary leaned in closer, her voice low. “Tim, what if I could help you with whatever you’re dealing with? Would you be able to share it with me then?”
Tim’s eyebrows lifted in surprise, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten as he considered her offer,

“How can you help with this?” He looked at her suspiciously but after a moment of thinking, he/
nodded in agreement, “Okay, Aunt Mary. I trust you.” The continuous dead ends that him and
James faced drove them crazy, and both were terrified of returning to the pack territory to a
volatile Azriel and Thunder.
Mary’s heart jumped as Tim began to speak, his words a hushed whisper filled with tension and urgency. He told her about Azriel’s search for his second chance mate, a human woman who had disappeared without a trace. As he recounted the story, Mary’s eyes widened in shock and
concern.
“What do you mean, lost?” Mary asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Tim took a deep breath, his eyes reflecting the weight of the situation. “Azriel found her, Aunt Mary. They spent a night together. But when he woke up, she was gone.”
A wave of emotion washed over Mary as she processed Tim’s words. The thought of Azriel, consumed by grief and desperation, sent a shiver down her spine. She knew they had to find a way to help him, and fast, but her thoughts were stopped in shock at his following words, “He was about to kill Doctor Luigi when he confessed that he helped her leave the pack. Azriel is almost going feral, Aunt Mary. We are all desperate to find this elusive Lora.”
Mary stood in front of him in shock, as she put her hands at her mouth, everything clicking together: Lora’s reactions and dreams, Azriel’s unrest and rage.
“Oh, Goddess!” Mary replied as she tried to make sense of the situation. After a short break, she asked Tim, “Tim, are you sure that Azriel wants her as his mate? I know that after Avril’s death, he
never looked at another woman.”
Tim nodded, “I know aunt, but I never saw him more unhinged than now. Thunder is roaring in a rage, and soon enough we will run out of furniture Azriel can break.”
