Kidnapped-2

Azriel’s grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles turned white. A low, feral growl rumbled deep in his chest, his wolf, Thunder, roaring in fury within him. The Lycans, the enemy they had been fighting, the ones responsible for so much pain and suffering. They had taken his mate, the mother of his children, his Luna.

The weight of the situation crashed down on him, threatening to overwhelm him, but he couldn’t afford to lose control. Not now. Not when Lora needed him the most. He had to stay strong, for her, for their sons.

“I’ll get her back,” Azriel vowed, his voice hardening with resolve. “I don’t care what it takes. I’ll find her, Kaia. I’ll bring her home.”

Kaia’s sobs echoed faintly through the phone, but she managed to choke out, “I’ll help you. We’ll find her, Azriel. We’ll bring her back.”

Azriel ended the call, his mind already racing with plans. The entire pack would be mobilized. Every resource, every ally, every ounce of strength they had would be used to find Lora and bring her back. He wouldn’t rest until she was safe in his arms again.

As he stepped out of the nursery, his eyes blazing with determination, he sent out a command through the pack link, his voice filled with the authority of an Alpha but tinged with the raw desperation of a man who had just lost the love of his life.

“Prepare for war.”

Lora’s eyes fluttered open to a pounding headache, a relentless ache that felt like her head was

being squeezed in a vice. The pain was sharp and insistent, making her wince and try to move away from it. Her entire body felt heavy and disoriented. As she tried to gather her senses, she

realized her chest was burning with an uncomfortable, throbbing sensation. Her n*****s were

leaking milk, the warm liquid soaking through her clothes and causing an added, urgent

discomfort.

*I need to feed my babies,* she thought desperately, her mind racing to the cries of her children that still echoed in her memory. But as she tried to focus, the crushing weight of her recent memories came crashing down on her with startling clarity.

The image of the dark shadow in the nursery flickered in her mind, followed by the sharp sting in

her neck. The memories of her sons’ cries filled her with a paralyzing dread. She remembered the fear and confusion as everything turned dark, leaving her with only the stark terror of what might

be happening to her family.

Lora forced herself to sit up, the effort making her head throb even more violently. She looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings, her heart pounding with anxiety. The room was dimly lit, with thick curtains blocking out most of the light. The decor was stark and unwelcoming, a stark

contrast to the warm and comforting environment of her home.

The walls were bare, painted in a cold, neutral color. There were no personal touches, no signs of life, just the sterile emptiness of a room designed to be functional rather than comforting. A single metal door stood at the far end, giving Lora a chilling sense of confinement. She could see a small,

narrow window high up on one wall, too small to offer much view or escape.

Panic clawed at her as she realized the full extent of her situation. She was alone, in a place she

didn’t recognize, with no immediate way of contacting her mate or getting help. The isolation was overwhelming, and the urgency to care for her babies only added to her distress.

Desperation drove her to her feet, but the room swayed around her, making her dizzy. She tried to

contact her wolf, Tara, but she was met with silence. Lora reached out to steady herself, trying to

get a clearer sense of her surroundings and to think of a plan. Her thoughts raced with worry about

her sons, Azriel, and what they might be going through.

As she steadied herself, she noticed a small, plain dresser in the corner of the room. Opening it,

she found some clothes, simple, utilitarian garments.

Lora approached the metal door and tried the handle. It was locked. Her heart sank further, but

she didn’t give up. She began searching the room for anything that might help her escape. There

was a small sink in the corner with basic toiletries, but nothing useful for breaking out.

With every passing moment, her fear and determination grew. She knew she had to get out of

there and find her way back to her family. The thought of her babies waiting for her, needing her,

gave her the strength to keep moving despite the overwhelming pain and fear.

She sat down for a moment, gathering her thoughts. Her mind was a storm of worry and urgency, but she focused on one thing: escaping. She had to get back to Azriel, to their sons. They needed

her, and she needed them.

As she took a deep breath, her mind flickered to the image of her family, Azriel’s fierce determination, the warmth of their home, the innocent faces of her babies. She couldn’t let them down. Not now, not ever.

Suddenly, a loud clanking noise shattered the silence. Lora’s heart leaped into her throat as she jumped, her breath catching in her chest. She spun around, her eyes wide with panic, as the sound of keys jangling, and the metallic click of a lock being turned echoed through the room.

Kidnapped-2

The door creaked open slowly, and a sliver of light from the hallway poured into the dimly lit room. Lora’s mind raced with fear and uncertainty as she stared at the door, her body frozen in place. She had no idea who or what awaited her on the other side.
