I Don’t Care-1
Dana’s heart dropped when she saw Tim flirting with the werewolf warrior. The relief she initially felt from him avoiding her was quickly overshadowed by the bond that revealed his anger and rage. Throughout the day, she had felt Luna Lora’s support and was grateful for it. For as long as she could remember, she had been alone with no friends or family. The vampires in the coven were cold and distant, especially given her slave status. So, to have someone on her side, to show her
kindness, was a rare gift.
As they sat around the bonfire, Dana’s eyes kept drifting to Tim, who was now openly flirting with the other woman. She felt a pain in her chest, like a claw gripping her heart. Lora looked disapprovingly in Tim’s direction. She expected him to be hurt and angry, but she hadn’t anticipated him falling into another woman’s arms so quickly.
When Tim left with the warrior, a part of Dana’s heart shattered. Moments later, it felt as though a searing iron rod had pierced her chest, causing her to wince in pain. Her body began to tremble, and tears gathered in her eyes. Lora, noticing her distress, looked at her with concern and pity.
“I’m so sorry, Dana. Tim is an idiot,” Lora said softly, reaching out to comfort her.
But Dana could barely register Lora’s words as waves of pain crashed over her, one after another. She had grown accustomed to suffering and physical pain, but this was a new level of hell. It was an agony that reached deep into her soul, tearing her apart from the inside out.
Every laugh, every touch Tim shared with that other woman felt like a dagger to her heart. She had endured countless tortures over the years, but nothing compared to the torment of seeing her mate with someone else. The bond amplified her anguish, making it impossible to escape the
pain.
Lora squeezed her hand gently. “I know how you are feeling as you went through this in the past, but you don’t have to go through this alone. We’re here for you.”
Dana looked at Lora, tears streaming down her face. She wanted to believe her, but the weight of her past and the hopelessness of her situation made it hard to hold on to any semblance of hope. The pain continued to radiate through the bond, each wave more intense than the last, until it felt
like she was drowning in her own sorrow.
The minutes passed at an agonizing pace, but the ache in her chest remained relentless. She could feel Tim’s bitterness and anger, his desire for revenge, and it only deepened her despair.
Dana sat by the bonfire, her body shaking in pain, her heartbreak. The night air was cold, but it couldn’t compare to the chill that had settled in her soul. As the flames flickered and danced, she realized that her suffering was far from over. This was just the beginning of a new, cruel chapter in

Lora’s eyes blazed with anger as she watched Dana suffer. She immediately mind linked Azriel, demanding that he do something about Tim’s behavior.
“You need to intervene, Azriel! Dana’s in agony,” she pleaded.
“I tried talking to him, “** Azriel replied, “but he’s consumed by bitterness and revenge.”
Lora’s anger turned to sadness. “Let’s go inside to our room,” she said softly to Dana, helping her
As they made their way inside, Dana’s pain became almost unbearable. Lora was at a loss about how to help her. Suddenly, the pain subsided, and Dana took a deep breath.
“The pain… it’s decreased,” Dana said, relief evident in her voice.
Lora let out a relieved breath. “It seems that Tim changed his mind and didn’t go through with his
affair.”
For a few moments, they sat in silence, the tension in the room easing slightly. But the reprieve was short-lived. The door to their room burst open, and an intoxicated Tim staggered inside. Lora looked at him in disbelief; she had never seen him like this before.
“I want to speak with my… ‘mate,” Tim slurred, his eyes bloodshot.
