Nightmares-2
“Hm, it seems that you need some sort of documents or paperwork for you to have an identity, and this would be the first step. Let me check with some of my contacts to see what I can do” Mary
said.
As Mary proposed the idea of obtaining documents for Elora, a glimmer of hope flickered in her eyes. She listened intently as Mary explained her plan, her heart racing with anticipation.
“That… That would be incredible,” Elora stammered, her voice filled with desperation. “But… No packs, please. I can’t go back, especially as a rogue; I don’t want to die.”
Mary reached out, placing a reassuring hand on Elora’s trembling shoulder. “I understand,” she said gently. “It won’t be anything official. Your secret is safe with me. Just a favor from one of my nephews.”
Elora’s breath caught in her throat as a wave of relief washed over her. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
Mary smiled warmly, her eyes filled with compassion. “Now, I need you to write down your full name and your previous pack affiliation,” she instructed. “That way, my nephew can try to locate your records in the inter-packs database.”
“How… How do you know about the inter-packs database?” Elora asked, her curiosity piqued.
Mary’s smile widened, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “Let’s just say I’ve picked up a few things over the years,” she replied cryptically. “It’s amazing what you can learn when you listen closely. I know that the system exists to help clear anyone’s identity fast and also facilitate a fast transfer from one pack to another, especially when some mates are from different packs. In the system you will find all the important documents.”
Elora listened carefully, “But only the Alphas, Betas and Deltas have access to the base.”
Mary smiled again, “No worries, my nephew can make it happen. Trust me on this.”
Elora nodded eagerly, her hands trembling as she reached for a pen and paper. As she wrote down her name and pack, a sense of hope began to blossom within her. Maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for her to rebuild her life in the human world.
But, before giving it to Mary, she stopped blushing. “I need to confess something, and please forgive me and try not to be upset with me.”
“What is it?” Mary asked.
“My name is not Lora… my name was Elora Black. But when you asked me that day in the hospital

my name, I was scared to give it to you.” Elora admitted, blushing profoundly.

But instead of getting upset, Mary patted her on her shoulder, “Smart girl! No worry about it, for
me; you are Lora. Now go and have some rest. You look exhausted.”
After Elora went to her room, Mary took her phone and took a long breath before selecting a
familiar number.
“Aunt Mary! How are you?” a warm voice shouted from the other side of the line.
Mary smiled at her nephew’s warm greeting. “I’m doing well, Tim. How about you?”
Tim’s voice came through, sounding upbeat. “Can’t complain, Aunt Mary. Just keeping busy, busy as hell with the pack businesses. Azriel is not slowing down anytime soon from expanding and keeps us all busy and on top of our toes.”
“Sounds like him, that man needs to slow down and find himself a Luna.” Mary replied.
After this, her tone shifted, conveying the seriousness of her request. “Listen, Tim, I need your help
with something important.”
Tim’s tone became more attentive. “Sure thing, Aunt Mary. What do you need?”
Mary took a deep breath before continuing. “I need you to do a favor for me. It’s a bit delicate, so I need you to keep it between us only, okay?”
Tim’s curiosity piqued. “Of course, Aunt Mary. You have my full attention. What’s going on?”
Mary hesitated for a moment, gathering her thoughts. “I need you to access the inter-packs database for me. I’m trying to obtain some records for someone who’s in a difficult situation.”
Tim’s tone grew serious. “It is a bit tricky, you know that this info is only used for certain purposes.”
“Shut up, Tim Kent! How many times have you accessed the database just to get a girl’s phone
number? So don’t bullshit me.” Mary added teasingly.
Tim groaned, “Aunt Mary, please….”
“Look, Tim there is nothing illegal. The poor girl was rejected by her mate and banished after she was framed and left to die in the wild. Plus, she lost her wolf in the process. Now she is alone and
lost in the human world. She has nothing: no documents, no ID, no school records, nothing. Please
help me to help her.”
Tim’s tone softened; his voice filled with compassion, “I understand, Aunt Mary. I’ll do everything I
can to help. Just give me the details, and I’ll get started right away.”
Mary breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for Tim’s unwavering support. “Thank you, Tim. I’ll send you

the information right away. And remember, not a word to anyone. Not even Azriel.”

“You bet! He would hang me by the balls to find out we were doing this for practically a rogue. You
know he shows no mercy to any rogue. He didn’t get his nickname of Deathstrike for nothing.” Tim
replied, his tone resolute. “I’ll keep this between us.”
The next morning, Mary saw Tim calling, so she picked up the call.
“Hello Aunt Mary.”
“Hi Tim, how are you?” she replied.
“I am calling about what we discussed yesterday evening. I looked into the system for what you
asked.” Tim answered.
“OK, this is great, so it means that you have something for me?” Mary asked hopefully.
“How well do you know this girl?” Tim asked.
Mary became impatient, “Spit it out Tim, what did you find?”
