Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 481

"Fuck! Tear her to pieces!"

The remaining two assassins, their eyes bloodshot, frantically pulled their triggers, reducing the corpse she used for cover to a bloody mess.

Just as their magazines were about to run dry, two round smoke grenades rolled out from under the body and stopped at their feet.

With a sharp pop—

Thick white smoke erupted, instantly blinding them.

The assassins panicked, a cold dread washing over them as they finally realized the monster they were dealing with. She was a phantom crawling out from hell itself!

"Help me! Pull me up!" an injured assassin, having taken a bullet and fallen, screamed desperately in the thick smoke.

Losing mobility in front of Phoenix Prescott was no different than being a lamb waiting for the slaughter.

However, this hastily assembled team of killers was full of selfish motives, and no one dared to reach blindly into the smoke to pull a dead weight.

"Ah!!!"

The muffled sound of a blade slicing through flesh echoed consecutively.

Moving like a phantom, Phoenix didn't waste a single motion, precisely claiming the lives of the three heavily injured assassins.

"You bitch! I'll take you down with me!!"

Driven mad with fear, one of the assassins ripped a frag grenade from his vest, pulled the pin, and hurled it violently into the thickest part of the smoke.

Boom!

A violent shockwave, accompanied by a deafening roar, instantly shredded the smoke screen.

Caught off guard by the blast wave, Phoenix was thrown back like a ragdoll, slamming heavily onto the rubble-strewn ground.

"Ugh..." A pained groan escaped her lips as a suffocating wave of agony washed over her body, every bone feeling as though it had been shattered.

She had been just one step away from finishing them all off, completely caught off guard by the fact that they would disregard their own comrade's life and use high-explosive ordnance.

She forced her head up.

Through the clearing smoke, the sole surviving assassin stepped over the wreckage, advancing toward her step by step.

His bloodshot eyes flickered with a crazed, greedy murderous intent.

"Hide! Why aren't you hiding now?!" The assassin grinned manically, his voice hoarse and grating. "I should actually thank you for taking out the competition. Now, that billion-dollar bounty is all mine!"

"Heh..." Phoenix swallowed the metallic taste of blood in her throat, letting out a cold, mocking scoff. She staggered but stood up with unyielding defiance. "You might have the life to earn that billion, but you won't have the life to spend it."

"Because... the one who's going to die is you."

The assassin's pupils constricted, a flash of uncontrollable terror flashing in his eyes.

She was battered to a pulp, yet this woman could still stand?! He had killed countless outlaws, but he had never seen a monster with this much stubborn resilience.

He couldn't let her live, or he would face endless, relentless retaliation!

"Go to hell!!" the assassin roared, raising his gun and aiming right at Phoenix's forehead.

In the blink of an eye, a dark silhouette tore through the smoke like a hurricane!
