Outcast Queen: Her Return from Hell novel Chapter 256

Vanessa's face went deathly pale, and she covered her mouth in sheer terror. “Warren, what did you do?”

Warren shot her a sidelong glance, his voice bone-chilling. “We all underestimated that wretched girl. I never imagined that spending four years in prison wouldn't break her, but instead allowed her to build such a terrifying foundation.”

“It's one thing for that chess player and Merry to help her—they go way back. But Nolan? If she can pull strings with someone like him, it means the cards she's holding are far more dangerous than we ever realized.”

Warren couldn't wrap his head around it.

How did the spineless weakling from four years ago emerge from Blackwood Penitentiary as such an absolute powerhouse?

“That's why she has to disappear!”

Warren gritted his teeth, his face contorting with rage. “If we let her keep running wild, she won't just destroy Ian—she'll take down the entire Prescott family with her!”

“But... she's still our daughter,” Vanessa whispered weakly. “Why don't we just try to make peace? If we just apologize and appeal to our family ties...”

“Shut up! You're so naive!” Warren barked harshly. “Vanessa, have you lost your mind? Did you forget you signed The Deed of Severance? Do you honestly think a wolf like her gives a damn about bloodlines?”

“Phoenix is a vicious beast waiting for the perfect moment to strike. We have to rip her out by the roots before she gets too powerful!”

“I agree with Dad,” Phoebe suddenly chimed in, adopting the look of a righteous martyr. “Even though it's unfair to Phoenix... she crossed the line this time.”

“Ian was ruined by her. She's a complete psychopath. It's unforgivable.”

“Dad, I've already reached out to Lewis Yardley, Lydia Langston, and Cassandra Lucas. We can launch a media smear campaign at a moment's notice.”

Warren nodded in approval, his expression softening slightly. “Phoebe, you've always been the sensible one. All those years of grooming you didn't go to waste. When push comes to shove, you know how to step up.”

Basking in the praise, a dark, triumphant gleam flashed through Phoebe's eyes.

“Dad, I'll do whatever it takes for this family.”

Vanessa and Julian watched the exchange with heavy hearts. If they hadn't been so relentlessly cruel to Phoenix back then, would things have ever escalated to this nightmare? The Prescott family was like a trapped animal in quicksand—the harder they fought, the deeper they sank.

“Honestly, we won't even need to use the media to get rid of her,” Warren sneered, oozing confidence. “To tell you the truth, I paid a fortune to hire a team of foreign mercenaries off the dark web...”

Before he could finish, his phone suddenly blared.

Seeing the encrypted number flash on the screen, Warren's lips curled into a menacing grin.

“Looks like the good news is here.”

He answered the call.

But instead of a victory report, a low, terrified voice echoed through the speaker, barely suppressing panic.

“Boss, the mission failed. Half my men are dead. We're dropping this contract.”

“What?!”

Warren shot to his feet, his eyes blowing wide. “You guaranteed zero failures! You took the money, and now you're telling me you failed?!”
