Mission: Revenge – The Heiress's Second Life novel Chapter 18

"With grades like that, you definitely bought your way into Class One," Lillian sneered from the adjacent row. "Some siblings are born exceptional, while others are just straight-up trash."

Clara closed her textbook and shot Lillian a deadly look.

Lillian Young. Another familiar face from her nightmare of a past life.

Serena's ultimate lapdog. During Clara's ten years in the hospital, Lillian had practically made it a hobby to show up and mock her.

"Do you all know why Serena doesn't have any hair?" Lillian announced, standing up to address the class. "She was crying her eyes out when she told me. She was just diagnosed with leukemia. The doctors said her hair would fall out anyway, so she shaved it."

"Serena is fighting a terminal illness, and her own sister deliberately ripped off her wig to humiliate her! Some people are just pure evil!"

The classroom erupted in shock.

"Serena has leukemia?!"

"No way, she always looks so healthy."

"It's always the good ones. Why would she get struck with something so horrible?"

Listening to the pathetic drama, Clara almost laughed out loud.

To salvage her shattered reputation and milk the class's pity, Serena had actually faked cancer.

Only a manipulative psycho like Serena could pull off such an insane lie.

"What's so funny?" Lillian spat. "Do you have any idea how devastated she is? You're her sister, and you're laughing?"

Clara cracked her knuckles and slowly closed the distance between them.

Her predatory gaze was so intense that Lillian instinctively took a step back.

"You're pretty arrogant, aren't you?" Lillian sneered, crossing her arms. "You think you can bully my best friend on your first day? You're out of your mind. We're going to teach you a lesson you'll never forget."

She raised her hand, aiming a vicious slap at Clara's face.

Lillian was an heiress herself. The Young family wasn't as wealthy as the Lamberts, but they were still a top-tier Springfield dynasty. She was used to doing whatever she wanted.

Her hand didn't even make it halfway before Clara caught her wrist in a vice-like grip.

In a lightning-fast motion, Clara shoved Lillian's face directly into the sink.

The basin was completely full—Clara had just plugged it.

Smiling ruthlessly, Clara grabbed a fistful of Lillian's hair, hauled her head out of the water, and whispered, "Class dismissed."
