Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 946

Chapter 946

Felix said nothing.

“Before, when General Litt wanted Summer, you stopped me from harming her,” Stella continued.

“Now that he wants me, you’re tearing everything apart looking for me and using every method possible to force Amos to hand me over.”

Wasn’t the reason obvious?

They wanted her under their control so they could use her to get what they wanted from Litt.

As Stella’s reasoning grew sharper, Felix’s temples began to pound.

“We only want what he has. We never intended to hand you over.”

Stella laughed coldly.

“You never intended to? When it comes down to it, are you sure you won’t?”

Every plan was designed to account for every possibility.

If the moment came when they had no other choice, they would sacrifice her.

It had only taken one incident for Stella to see them clearly.

“Felix, I never thought we’d end up like this. It’s disgusting.”

The more deeply she had trusted him in Harbor City, the more disgusted she felt by that trust now.

“Remember this. If you keep going after Amos, then we’ll become enemies for good.”

Before Felix could respond, Stella ended the call.

The sound of the disconnected line nearly made him hurl his phone across the room.

He turned to Aaron.

Aaron’s expression was equally grim.

He shook his head.

They had failed to trace Stella’s location.

They had not even managed to narrow it down to a general area.

“That call lasted this long, and you still couldn’t find her?” Felix demanded.

“I didn’t expect Amos to have anyone that capable working for him.”

In the past, Amos and the people around him had all seemed incompetent.

Apparently that was no longer the case.

Felix’s expression darkened further.

The call had been on speaker, so Aaron had heard everything Stella said.

His face turned cold.

“I thought she’d completely given up on Evan.”

Chapter 946

Like Felix, Aaron assumed Stella’s threat against the Hogarth family had been made for Evan’s sake.

Felix took a drag from the cigarette that had burned down to half its length.

“Evan is dead.”

“So?”

“The dead have a way of affecting people more than the living ever could.”

Aaron frowned.

“But she used to want him dead.”

“She did. But this time, his death is connected to her. That changes everything.”

Aaron said nothing.

He did not understand emotions like that.

But hearing Stella threaten her own family because of Evan still left him deeply displeased.

“That damned girl.”

She had taken her rebellion far too far.

Threatening her own family over a man like Evan?

What exactly was she trying to do?
