Let’s Divorce Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice novel Chapter 884

Chapter 884

Felix’s reason was obvious.

But none of them could understand why Aaron had sided against Stella over Summer.

The thought of Aaron’s attitude toward the matter only made Evan more irritated.

“He and Felix probably have some kind of shared interest.”

Whatever tied Aaron and Felix together, it clearly ran deep.

Amos frowned.

“He’d hurt his own sister just to protect whatever arrangement he has with Felix?”

Then Stella would be better off without a brother like that.

Evan said nothing.

Back when Stella had been beside him, he had never thought much about the things he did.

But now…

Watching Felix and Aaron treat her this way made his chest ache.

He could not shake the feeling that Stella was suffering terribly in Eirden.

Then there was her determination to go to Ravaria.

She would never have made that decision unless she had been pushed too far.

“Handle the Black Sea operation first,” Amos said when Evan remained silent.

No matter what, that was still the most urgent matter.

“I don’t feel comfortable leaving her in Eirden.”

“I understand. But Seymour is already there. Even if you went personally, she still wouldn’t come back to Seaborne with you.”

Stella’s own refusal was the biggest obstacle.

Evan fell silent.

The mention of Seaborne brought Felix’s words back to him,

Felix had claimed that bringing Stella there would be the same as sending her to her death.

What kind of nonsense was that?

A dead end?

Felix and the Hogarth family were the ones placing her in real danger.

Evan already hated Felix enough.

Now he wanted nothing more than to tear him apart.

Back in Eirden, Stella had been told Michael would return that day.

More than anything, she wanted to escape the chaos surrounding her.

“You’re not going to Ravaria,” Aaron said firmly. “Forget about it.”

Stella looked up at him.

There was none of the warmth in her eyes that a younger sister should have held for her brother.

“From now on, Leah will stay by your side.”

Leah.

Back in Harbor City, Gray had answered only to Stella.

Replacing him with Leah meant placing someone beside her who followed Aaron’s orders completely.

Without Gray, it was as though Aaron had clipped her wings.

Even Summer’s situation might now slip beyond Stella’s control.

Stella slammed her knife and fork onto the plate.

Aaron’s expression darkened when he saw the coldness settle completely over her features.

“What?”

“What are you so afraid of?” Stella asked coldly.
