Felix left.

Gray hurried inside and passed him at the door.

“Miss Rowan.”

Seeing the cold fury surrounding Felix, Gray knew they must have argued over Summer again.

Felix had once stood firmly on Stella’s side in Harbor City.

No one could have expected his attitude to change so completely because of Summer.

Stella’s face revealed nothing.

“What happened with Summer?”

“The diagnosis is real. She does have kidney failure. We’ve already handed her over to the authorities.”

That was where Summer belonged.
