Silas dragged the video's progress bar all the way to the end, confirming that the explosive confrontation he had expected was entirely absent.
His expression turned absolutely venomous.
He threw the phone back onto the table, his voice laced with fury.
"Is this your grand success?"
Caspar scrambled to pick it up, his hands shaking as he replayed the clip.
In the video, Sienna and Finn stood side by side in comfortable loungewear. They looked relaxed, peaceful, and ridiculously attractive together—like an established couple, or even a married one.
There was no shouting, no anger, no betrayal.
They merely stood there, exchanging a few quiet words that the camera couldn't even pick up.
Silas's voice dripped with quiet rage.
"It looks like your brilliant plan just gave them a chance to bond."
He glared at Caspar. "I really should be thanking you."
Cold sweat beaded on Caspar's forehead.
"Boss, I don't understand... This makes no sense. This shouldn't have happened..."
"Get out."
In three years of working for Silas, Caspar had never been spoken to like this.
Panic set in—he could not afford to lose this job!
He desperately tried to salvage the situation.
"Boss, there's only one explanation! Dr. Sterling must have known Finn lived across from her all along. If she knew, and she was fine being his neighbor, then she's been playing you this entire time! Stringing you along while keeping Finn on the side—"
"Shut your mouth." Silas's voice wasn't loud, but it was utterly terrifying.
"If you say one more word about her, I will make you regret it."
Caspar clamped his mouth shut.
"Get the hell out of my sight."
Caspar practically scrambled over his own feet to escape the lounge.
Silas sat alone on the sofa, staring blankly at the tarmac as planes took off and landed into the night. His mind was racing.
Caspar's desperate accusation had planted a toxic seed in his brain.
Did Sienna actually know all along?
He replayed the last few days in his head. She hadn't reached out to him once.
