The man's long fingers, resting on the steering wheel, visibly stalled.
Silence filled the car for two seconds before Jorrod turned his head. He no longer looked like the deeply satisfied and happy man from moments ago. A dark gloom shrouded his face from his brows to his eyes.
"To see Julian?"
Sienna nodded.
His fingers tightened on the steering wheel, his face devoid of any emotion.
He had accepted being underground, accepted being a lover. He cheerfully swallowed doing all these things that couldn't see the light of day.
But now, he had to personally drive her to Julian's place.
The composure Jorrod maintained on the surface didn't last five seconds before he turned his head and let out an abrupt, cold sneer.
"You're not allowed to go," he stated.
"Jorrod."
"Don't go." Jorrod tightened his jaw, rephrasing his words and repeating himself.
Sienna frowned, adopting an earnest tone. "Look at you, you have no tolerance at all. How am I supposed to make you official like this?"
Jorrod wasn't distracted by the word "official." Instead, the word "tolerance" made him instantly grasp the meaning behind her words.
He stared in disbelief. "Even if I become official, you're still going to look for other guys?"
"Not necessarily," Sienna turned to look at him. "Your body is decent. If you service me well, I'll just scrape by with only you."
The implication in those words didn't sound like any proper kind of service.
Jorrod scoffed. "Do I service you well or not? Don't you know?"
Not only had he cleaned her up thoroughly afterward, but he hadn't even dared to use any positions that would tire her out.
Sienna continued to provoke him, "I fell asleep last night. I wouldn't know."
The car engine was killed.
Seeing this, Sienna looked down to unbuckle her seatbelt. If he wouldn't drive her, she'd go herself.
She had even taunted him about it.
How could something that felt good for both of them be considered servicing?
But later, it didn't seem to go the way she thought it would. The man dropped to one knee between her legs, his dark eyes half-lidded. He pressed one hand on her shoulder, firmly pinning her to the sofa.
He leaned down and kissed her lips. Sienna closed her eyes, but before she could immerse herself in it, a cold sensation hit her without warning—the distinct chill of winter tap water.
Something she had never experienced before.
It was no longer the scorching, blazing heat she was familiar with.
Her back arched abruptly as she opened her eyes, gripping the man's sharply defined arms, wrinkling his sleeves in her grasp.
She wanted to push him, but he wouldn't budge.
She could only let that unfamiliar sensation sweep through her entire body, making her bite her lip and tremble uncontrollably.
Jorrod couldn't kiss her. If she wouldn't open her mouth, he moved half an inch closer, and correspondingly, everything else got closer too.
