HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back) novel Chapter 946

Several Alpha Team members immediately understood his intention. Without needing any orders, they intensified their return fire, forcing Falcon's men to take cover for a moment and creating an opening for Brandon to break through.

“Watch out! Don't let him get close!” barked the large man who had been standing beside Falcon all this time. Four men immediately moved to intercept him, but Brandon didn't slow down.

The first man swung the butt of his rifle at Brandon's head. Brandon ducked, then drove his knee into the man's stomach, doubling him over in pain. Before the man's body could hit the ground, Brandon's elbow smashed into his jaw, sending him sprawling motionless.

The other two men charged almost simultaneously.

Brandon spun aside, dodging the first attack, then grabbed the second man's arm and threw him straight into his own teammate. The two crashed to the floor in a heap before Brandon took off running again without so much as a backward glance.

“Stop him!” someone shouted again.

Bullets whistled through the air once more. One passed so close that it grazed Brandon's arm, leaving a streak of blood that quickly soaked through his sleeve. But he didn't even look at the wound. His eyes remained fixed on Falcon.

Naomi, who had been taking cover with Viola, unconsciously rose slightly from behind the concrete pillar. Her fingers gripped the edge of the pillar so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

“Brandon...” she whispered.

She knew the man was angry. But this was the first time she had ever seen such overwhelming rage. Brandon no longer seemed to care about his own safety. Every step he took had only one purpose.

To reach Falcon.

Meanwhile, Falcon remained exactly where he was. He didn't move, nor did he order a retreat or attempt to flee. He simply watched Brandon draw closer and closer, as though this was exactly what he had been waiting for.

The corner of his mouth lifted again. “At last,” he murmured. “You're still exactly the same as you were back then.”

Only a few meters now separated Brandon and Falcon. The last two of Falcon's men stepped forward to block his path.

Brandon slammed his left fist into the first man's face, spinning him around before he crashed to the floor. Without losing momentum, he drove into the second man, slamming his shoulder into the man's chest and sending him flying into a shipping container.

Now, no one stood between them anymore. Brandon and Falcon faced each other. The sound of gunfire around them seemed to fade away.

Falcon looked at his younger brother for several seconds. “You've always been stubborn.”

Brandon didn't answer. He took a long stride forward, then...

Fist met fist. Elbow collided with elbow. There were no more weapons, no more commands. Only two brothers unleashing the hatred they had buried for years.

Naomi stood frozen behind the pillar. Her eyes never left Brandon.

Every time he took a hit, her breath caught in her throat. Every time Brandon struck back, she only then realized that her hands had been clasped together so tightly all this time that her nails were digging into her own palms.

Amid the gunfire that still echoed sporadically from different corners of the warehouse, Naomi's full attention was now fixed on the two men striking each other without the slightest trace of mercy.

Because she knew that whatever the outcome of this fight... all of their fates would be decided within the next few minutes.

Brandon gave Falcon no chance to catch his breath. The instant Falcon's punch missed its target, Brandon pivoted and drove his right elbow into his brother's ribs.

Thud!

The powerful blow forced Falcon back half a step. For the first time since they had met, the expression on his face changed. Not to fear, but to surprise. Brandon immediately seized the opening. His left fist shot forward, smashing into Falcon's temple, followed by a hard kick to his knee that threw the man's balance off.
