Aiden POV
If Sinclair hadn’t mind linked me to tell me this was going to happen, I would tear into my brother. Luckily, however, she did, and she said she sent the investigation to my inbox. I internally let out a breath. I know we didn’t have anything in our possession, but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t have been implanted.
Councilman Edgar has always been upright. This visit felt a little hostile, though, and I don’t know if I can trust him now. That’s what worries me now. We are getting ready to enter a war, and I need to know I have legal support when the time comes.
Edgar looked at Adrian, and we waited for his answer. Then he spoke. “Have you been investigating Councilman Vorath?”
“No,” I said. “His name came up as part of our investigation into Heath, Councilman.”
“You have proof against Alpha Heath?”
“Yes. However, as you say, only a council member can wipe a pack off the registry and bury an original patent. While we haven’t dug into Vorath, perhaps you will. If there is corruption in the Council, then how can any pack feel safe?” I challenged.
Edgar nodded. “Quite right, Alpha Aiden. Yes, I would like to see this proof. I will then do my investigation into Vorath. Coming from me, it will not raise flags.”
“Who said we were investigating Vorath?” I asked.
“Alpha Julian.”
That motherfucker. Of course he would say that. But how did he find out we investigated Heath? Unless someone told him.
“He is getting ready to start a war, Councilman Edgar. Why don’t you come to my office? It appears we have a lot to discuss,” I said.
“A war?”
My mojito then spoke up. “Yes. A war. My cousin has a ‘rule the world’ complex.”
“Let’s head inside then,” Edgar said.
Jonah and Rory showed up and said they would watch the pack with Adrian. I nodded and led Edgar to my office. Once there, we explained everything from beginning to end. We explained how many enemies we have had to dismantle since I met Thalia and the cold war began. Then we pulled out the prophecy and showed it to him. We explained the correlation of each part of the prophecy and how it has been reflected. We explained the mines, the tool, and how we had to send someone undercover to dismantle his pack. The Cold War has been happening for the last two years, probably longer than that, because of Heath’s criminality.
When we were done explaining everything, Edgar sat back and looked at all the evidence. “Why didn’t you come to the council sooner?”

What happened to the storyline? After Chp 100 it is a completely different story! This is terrible!...
So many missing chapters and repetitions. A different story altogether from chapter 101...
