He Gave Me Hearing, Then Taught Me What Silence Really Means novel Chapter 64

Some of them had even assumed he was a celebrity.

The hotel boasted impeccable privacy protocols, frequently hosting A-list stars and an exclusive clientele of the ultra-rich and powerful.

They had figured Nelson was an actor—someone that good-looking couldn't possibly fly under the radar for long.

One of them had schemed to sneak in under the guise of delivering complimentary items, hoping to snag an autograph.

Who could have guessed... who could have guessed she would walk in on *that* scene...

Just thinking about it made her knees weak all over again.

Her coworkers were still badgering her. "Did you get it? Did he mention what shows he's starred in?"

The girl covered her face, her ears burning red. "I don't know, I didn't even get the chance to speak!"

"Ugh, you wasted such a perfect opportunity!"

"He—he was busy doing *stuff* with someone. I was so shocked I dropped the tray. He yelled at me to get out."

The group fell into a stunned silence, their imaginations running wild enough to make them all blush.

The girl was still hiding her face. "My mind just went totally blank. My legs are still shaking."

Someone murmured softly, "He has the most gorgeous face. Imagine what it would be like to kiss him."

"Yeah... he's easily the best-looking guy I've ever seen, and so tall. He's definitely going to blow up soon."

The group dropped the subject, but a lingering thrill buzzed through all of them.

Juniper had absolutely no idea she was the main subject of their gossip. In a hazy daze, she turned her head, squinting at the masculine face hovering just inches away. "Nelson, when did you get so big?" she mumbled in confusion.

Before she could process anything else, she let out a soft gasp.

Nelson leaned down and bit her shoulder. After a long moment, he buried his face in the crook of her neck, his breathing slightly ragged.
