“You’re not going, Levi, and that’s final,” I told him while we were in bed.

“Are you not certain of me?” he asked.

“You don’t even know how crazy I felt when I couldn’t reach out to you. There wasn’t a single day when I stopped thinking about you, and I don’t think it’s going to stop anytime soon.”

His gaze softened.

“I think it’s going to last a lifetime. No… I know it’s going to last a lifetime.”

“There wasn’t a day I didn’t think about you either. Even when I tried distracting myself, everything somehow reminded me of you.”
