Fluffy Mates Chase Their Boss on Survival Show novel Chapter 328

Chapter 328 We Found You a New Nest

Layla patted Shane’s shoulder and said, “You scout the place out. Oliver and I will deal with its nest.”

The Thunder Pterosaur’s nest was huge, built entirely out of metal. They’d need their full beast strength to move something that heavy, so they both shifted without hesitation-Layla into her roseate spoonbill form and Oliver into his crane.

They pecked at the nest to loosen it, then heaved upward with all their strength and hefted the metal nest onto their backs. The weight slammed down hard and stung like hell.

Layla exhaled slowly and traded a look with Oliver. They beat their wings and flew out.

Before she left, Layla glanced back at Shane and said quietly, “Stay safe.”

Shane nodded, his expression serious. “You too.”

Layla and Oliver set the Thunder Pterosaur’s nest down in the cave where the Quetzalcoatlus used to live.

After the last attack, nearly all of them were dead. The production team had driven off whatever was left.

Once the nest was secure, Layla plucked one of her own feathers. Then she and Oliver took off.

They flew through the sky as raindrops hammered their feathers. Luckily, their feathers were waterproof-one quick shake and the water beaded right off.

Oliver watched Layla gliding ahead of him, graceful and effortless.

She’s stunning no matter what form she takes.

A bolt of silver-white lightning split the dark sky and struck a mountain peak.

Layla heard a beast’s howl. That was Carson.

She frowned and veered toward the sound, a flash of bright pink streaking across the sky.

Layla spotted Carson and Liam locked in combat with the Thunder Pterosaur right away.

George was gathering the falling rain and shaping it into water columns. Every time the Thunder Pterosaur tried to unleash a lightning blast, George sent a wall of water surging into its path, deflecting the electricity.

Building up another charge took time, and the Thunder Pterosaur had already taken several heavy hits from Carson and Liam.

Rage flickered in the Thunder Pterosaur’s eyes. It scraped its claws against the ground. Bolts of lightning crackled and snaked beneath its scales.

Layla’s brow furrowed.

Is it about to unleash something huge?

George reached out in alarm and said, “Don’t, Layla, it’s dangerous!”

Layla didn’t answer. She stepped up to the Thunder Pterosaur, her gaze steady and sincere.

“We weren’t trying to hurt you,” she said. “The place you’ve been living in belongs to the Wormhole Queen. We found you a new nest.”

The Thunder Pterosaur watched her warily. When it saw she wasn’t going to finish it off while it was helpless, it relaxed a little and let out a snort.

She glanced at George and Oliver. “You two, figure out how to move it to the old Quetzalcoatlus

George and Oliver looked at each other, then pointed at themselves. “Us? Together?”

Layla nodded, blinking at them with an innocent expression. “That’s right. You two have the most energy left Liam and Carson got hurt keeping it from wrecking the Starcore Ore cave. You really gonna make them do it?

George and Oliver had zero desire to do this, but they were out of excuses.

Vine: Whatever. It’s just hauling stuff.

I am not touching that guy. No way,
