Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 1633

Emmy softly repeated the name under her breath. "Emanuel..."

The dimples at the corners of her mouth deepened as she nodded in agreement. "That is a beautiful name with a wonderful meaning. Since you have chosen his formal name, I will give him a nickname."

She lowered her head slightly, using the pad of her thumb to gently caress the baby's warm cheek. "We already have Joey and Dolly at home. So for our third child... why don't we call him Manny? Joey, Dolly, and Manny... When you put them together, it feels like our family is forever united and perfectly complete."

She looked up at James, earnestly expressing her heartfelt thoughts. "My mother left Joey and Dolly their names as a blessing of togetherness. Now, I only wish for all three of our children to be together, making our home completely whole and eternally happy."

Joey, Dolly, and Manny. These three names woven together seemed to fill in the final missing piece of a family that had weathered countless hardships.

Listening to her explanation, James raised his hand, his thumb affectionately caressing Emmy's pale yet blissfully happy face. "Alright, we will do as you say. From now on, our third child will be called Manny."

The smile on Emmy's lips grew even brighter. She lowered her eyes, her gaze falling on the little guy beside her once more. She gently wiggled the finger that the baby was tightly clutching and refusing to let go.

Smiling tenderly, her voice brimming with soft maternal love, she gently called out to him. "Manny. Did you hear that? You have a name now. You are Emanuel, our little third child."

She lightly poked his soft, chubby cheek with her other hand. "When you grow a little bigger, Mommy will take you to meet your big brother and sister, okay?"

It was unclear whether the baby had actually understood the words about his siblings, but the little guy, who had been quietly blowing bubbles with his eyes closed, suddenly furrowed his tiny brows. His bright red mouth smacked twice. Then, without any warning, he opened his mouth and started wailing at the top of his lungs.

"Oh my goodness, he is too cute! Emmy, your family's genes are just way too good! His little nose and mouth look exactly like Joey and Dolly when they were born. Look at his round little forehead. It is so full and well shaped. You can just tell he is going to be incredibly smart and clever," they chimed in one after another.

Emmy leaned against the sofa, a lightweight cashmere shawl draped over her shoulders. Listening to her friends taking turns showering the baby with praise, her eyes crinkled in a gentle, slightly helpless smile. "You are all exaggerating. He is still so little, and his features haven't even fully developed yet. How can you possibly tell if he is smart or not?"

Abriella completely disagreed, her eyes glued to little Manny's face. "Of course we can tell! My godson is absolutely the cutest and smartest!"

Unable to contain her overflowing affection, she carefully extended a single finger and gently poked Manny's fair, soft cheek. The moment her fingertip touched his supple skin, Abriella felt her heart melt. However, Manny remained completely undisturbed in his crib. His eyelashes did not so much as flutter as he continued to sleep soundly and peacefully with his eyes shut.

"Why isn't this little guy waking up yet?" Abriella withdrew her hand, looking a bit disappointed as she turned her eager gaze toward Emmy. "I have been here for over half an hour, and he is still sleeping so deeply."
