Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 850

Sebastian and Lily sat together on a bench.

He turned his head to look at the little girl beside him.

Lily kept her head down, pulling an advanced Rubik's Cube from her backpack. Without saying a word to him, she quietly twisted the puzzle in her hands.

For someone so young, she possessed an incredible amount of composure.

A faint smirk touched Sebastian's lips. "Do you need me to officially introduce myself?"

Lily didn't even look up. Her tiny voice was remarkably calm. "No need. I know who you are."

She paused.

Glancing at him, she added, "But my mom said you two broke up a long time ago. Since you aren't together anymore, does that mean I don't have to call you Dad?"

She was young, but undeniably headstrong.

Sebastian watched her quietly. "Call me whatever you want."

Lily nodded. "Then I'll just call you Mister. After all, you and my mom aren't married anymore, right?"

"Right. You should definitely take your mom's side." He paused, entirely accepting of her logic.

Only then did she set down her Rubik's Cube to study him closely. "Does your leg still hurt?"

She was asking about the fall he took from the balcony a few months ago.

Sebastian shifted his leg slightly. "It's pretty much healed."

That seemed to ease Lily's mind.

She knew she owed him for saving her, but right now, she felt conflicted. The situation was complicated. The man she thought was just a stranger turned out to be her father.

Her little brain was working on overdrive. Fixing her big, pretty eyes on him, she demanded answers. "Are you and my mom completely done? Why did you break up? Did you stop loving each other? Or did you fall in love with someone else? Oh, was it that Seraphina lady?"

The questions spilled out all at once.

Sebastian gently lifted her backpack off her lap and set it aside. His voice was calm. "No."
