"And this is Jarred Sterling, Captain Sterling, the head of the support team." Caleb paused, throwing an extra glance in Jarred's direction.

"Let's get to work," she replied coldly, pivoting on her heel to leave.

"Dr. Sloan, wait!" Caleb hurriedly stopped her. "There's one more support doctor I haven't introduced. The one right next to you, Dr. Carlyle!"

Sienna froze in her tracks.

She turned her head and saw Celeste standing right beside her, wearing a soft, impossibly polite smile.

"Dr. Sloan," Celeste said softly. "I look forward to working together."

Sienna stared at her, a loud ringing filling her ears.

She glared at Celeste in sheer disbelief.

Celeste's medical license had been suspended indefinitely after recklessly medicating the youngest son of the Zellers. She had been exiled from the Capital's medical community.

How the hell was she part of the support team?

Sienna immediately took a step forward, demanding answers from both Celeste and Caleb. "Which hospital is Dr. Carlyle affiliated with? Who dispatched her for this mission?

If I recall correctly, after your little scandal broke, not a single legitimate hospital in the Capital dared to hire you."
