Chapter 310 Lock Her Up, Keep Her
Chapter 310 Lock Her Up, Keep Her
“Why?” Natasha blurted out without thinking. But her words sounded feeble and powerless. A flicker of suspicion crossed Natasha’s mind as she wondered what excuse he would use to brush her off this time.
“Remember when I told you I didn’t want you seeing Jared?” Percy said.
Natasha glared at him. “You have no say in this.”
It was her life; who she chose to be with was none of his damn business. They were divorced now. She didn’t owe him anything anymore.
Percy yanked her even closer, his grip possessive. “I’m your husband. How could I not have a say?” he retorted, stressing every word, his tone domineering.
Natasha rolled her eyes dramatically. She hurried to correct him, “Not husband. Ex-husband. There’s a difference.”
And he was an ex-husband who’d already moved on to someone else. By all rights, they shouldn’t even be in each other’s lives anymore.
She couldn’t figure out why he’d gone so far as to have some shady driver kidnap her and bring her here.

“Even as your ex-husband, I won’t let you get involved with Jared again,” Percy warned, his tone cold and possessive.
But Natasha couldn’t care less about his warning. To her, Percy absolutely had no right to forbid her from anything.
But she’d just woken up, and her body was still weak. She didn’t have the strength to argue with him right now.
“You have no right to meddle!” Natasha snapped, her words sharp as she gritted her teeth.
Percy shot her a loaded look. “You’ll find out soon enough whether I can interfere in your life or not.”
Natasha’s heart skipped a beat at his words. “What do you mean?” she blurted out, anxiety creeping into her voice.
Percy leaned in, reaching out to touch her face. But Natasha instinctively dodged away.
His eyes darkened for a split second. Then he gave a cold, mocking laugh. “From this moment on, you’ll never see him again.”
Natasha’s brows knitted together. “That’s impossible!”
‘How could I never see him again?’ Natasha thought, her heart pounding. ‘Unless..
Percy’s eyes narrowed, a sinister glint in them. “I’m going to keep you here.”
Natasha’s gaze shifted, wary. “What do you mean?”
Percy’s gaze burned into her. “You’re my wife. You belong here, with me.”
Natasha’s lips curled in a mix of disbelief and annoyance. She grew visibly agitated, her whole body tense with emotion.
“I’m not your wife; haven’t been for ages! You can’t keep me prisoner!” Natasha snapped, her voice shaking with anger.
Percy’s eyes flashed with crazed intensity. “You really think you can get away from me?”
Natasha felt a surge of panic. “I…” she could barely get the words out, her mind racing.
She pulled back the covers, determined to get out of bed. But her body was so weak, her legs buckled, and she almost collapsed right onto the floor.
Percy instinctively reached out, pulling her into his arms before she could hit the ground. “If you’d just thrown yourself into my arms like a good girl, wouldn’t that have been easier?” he teased, a smirk tugging at his lips.
But Natasha instinctively fought to break free from his grip. “Let me go! Let me go!” she shouted, her voice loud and desperate.
Percy tightened his grip, making it clear he had zero intention of letting her go. “Just stay here and keep me company. When I finally get tired of you, maybe I’ll let you go,” he said, his voice low and taunting.
Natasha glared at him in disgust. “Percy, don’t go too far!”
Percy gave her a meaningful look. “If I really wanted to cross the line, holding you would be the least of it.”
Natasha’s face stiffened, caught off guard. “You!” she blurted, her voice shaking with fury.
“Don’t move. The stuff in your body hasn’t cleared out yet. The more you struggle, the dizzier you’ll get,” Percy murmured.
Natasha had to admit he was right; the more she tried to fight him off, the more her head spun. She felt like she might throw up.
She was forced to stop moving, helpless to do anything else. Percy seized the moment, scooping her up and gently laying

her down on the bed.
He carefully tucked the covers around her, making sure she was comfortable. “Just be good and try to sleep a bit more. When you wake up, everything will be back to normal,” he murmured.
He was so close, his hot, masculine breath practically seared her cheek. Natasha’s skin prickled with goosebumps.
A chill of revulsion ran through her, making her shudder. She immediately shut her eyes, done talking to him.
Natasha didn’t even notice when Percy finally left. She passed out almost instantly, probably because the drugs still hadn’t worn off.

Natasha was rudely awakened by a bucket of cold water splashed right over her. She blinked, her head spinning and everything feeling fuzzy.
She could barely think straight. She stared at the ceiling, realizing she’d seen it before.
The realization hit her all at once; Percy had kidnapped her. She moved to slip out of bed and make a run for it when a sudden, sharp crack split the air.
A vicious slap landed on her cheek, without a hint of mercy. The slap echoed, loud and clear, through the room.
Natasha instantly felt a burning sting on her cheek, and her mouth flooded with the taste of blood.
She was still too out of it to figure out what was going on, then another hard slap crashed down on her.
“Are you awake now?” Joan grabbed her by the chin and snapped at her, not holding back her anger.
Natasha recognized that voice, and her eyes finally landed on that malicious face of hers. Her brows furrowed in disgust and confusion. “Joan? What are you doing here?” Natasha blurted out.
‘Did Percy actually join forces with her to kidnap me?’ Natasha wondered; the thought sent a shiver through her.
“I’m Percy’s girlfriend now. We’re inseparable these days; so what’s so shocking about seeing me here?” Joan tilted her chin defiantly, her eyes full of smug provocation.
Natasha couldn’t take it anymore and snapped, “What exactly are you two trying to pull? Percy and I are divorced! Why the hell did you kidnap me and bring me here?”
Joan’s face twisted with rage. “You’ve got the nerve to ask me what I want? You’re divorced, but you keep trying to seduce your ex-husband, my boyfriend, again and again!
“Maybe I should be the one asking what you’re scheming!” Her eyes practically blazed with hatred as she spat out the words.
Natasha was totally dumbfounded. “I seriously don’t know what you’re talking about. I never tried to seduce Percy,” she snapped right back.
Back when she was married to Percy, she never once tried to win him over. If she had, Percy wouldn’t have gotten snatched away by Joelle.
Natasha had always acted cold toward him, never showing any real warmth. And after the divorce, Natasha couldn’t wait to put as much distance between herself and Percy as possible. Why on earth would she ever try to go after him again?
“Don’t give me that crap!” Joan screamed, her voice trembling with fury. Her eyes blazed red with anger.
“If you weren’t trying to seduce Percy, then why is he still obsessed with you? Do you think I’m nothing? I’m his official girlfriend now, and you’re just his ex-wife! Yet you still can’t get over him!”
Natasha rolled her eyes again. “I’ve never been hung up on him; so there’s nothing for me to get over! Not everyone is crazy about Percy like you are. I seriously have zero interest in him! I swear, just let me go, and I promise I’ll keep my distance from him for good!”
Joan wasn’t buying it for a second. “Oh, so just because you say you didn’t, that makes it true? You keep sneaking around behind my back to see him, again and again!” Joan snapped, her voice shaking with anger.
“I really didn’t…” Natasha insisted, her voice shaky.
She’d run into Percy a few times since then. But it was never on purpose; not once did she actually want to see him.
Every single time, Percy was the one chasing after her, blocking her path. He just couldn’t deal with the fact that after their divorce, Natasha went and started seeing Jared. Every time they crossed paths, it was Percy chasing her down, not the other way around.
“Still got the nerve to deny it? Natasha, I was actually going to let you off the hook! But you just don’t get it, do you? You just have to try and steal my man! If I don’t teach you a lesson, you’ll never learn!” Joan spat, her voice laced with venom.
