Chapter 19 She Finally Gets Him

Jared’s gaze grew darker.

Heat surged through him.

Before the heat got out of hand, he hurried out of the car.

He pulled out a clean change of clothes and a dry towel from the trunk.

Back in the car, Jared härided Natasha a dry towel and a fresh set of clothes. “Dry off and get changed.”

Natasha just took the towel and wiped herself off. “I’m good, Mr. Rundell. You’re the one who’s drenched. Go ahead and change yourself.”

Jared tossed her the shirt. “You change your top. I’ll swap my pants.”

Natasha was speechless.

Before she could say anything, he’d already peeled off his soaked shirt, which was clinging to his skin.

Natasha caught sight of his chiseled abs and tight, muscular frame, and she coughed awkwardly.

“You’re really going to change your pants right in front of me?” she asked.

Jared raised an eyebrow. “What, never seen a guy’s junk before?”

Natasha blurted out, “Of course I have!”

As soon as the words left her mouth, she instantly regretted.

She saw Jared’s expression suddenly shift.

He felt even more annoyed.

‘Damn it, how could I forget she’s already married?’ he thought.

Just imagining her in bed with her husband made his blood boil.

He felt a pang of jealousy he couldn’t quite explain.

Jared stared at her with cold, shadowed eyes, his jaw tight. “So, did you like what you saw?” he asked.

Natasha couldn’t help but remember that time Dorothy had insisted she watch porn with Dorothy, and she’d accidentally seen something she really wished she hadn’t.

“Not really, it was actually kind of terrifying,” she blurted out.

Jared had no clue which guy she was thinking about, but most likely, it was her husband.

If he could, he’d kick her out of the car right now.

His gaze turned dark and biting as he snarked, “Isn’t your husband already shacked up with your sister? Still hung up on him?”

Natasha’s face looked awkward and uncomfortable.

‘So he really did hear my whole conversation with Dorothy,’ she thought, feeling so embarrassed.

Now even her boss knew about her messy family drama.

Natasha wished the ground would just swallow her up.

As didn’t deny it, Jared’s scowl softened just a bit.

‘Looks like this woman’s marriage is falling apart.

‘No wonder her needs never got met ever since her breakdown.

‘Her husband must be into her sister now and doesn’t even bother with her anymore.

‘That explains why she keeps coming after me again and again, he thought.

Jared’s eyes fixed on her, his lips curling into a provocative smirk. “So, do you want to see mine?”

Natasha’s eyes widened in shock.

She couldn’t believe he’d actually said that out loud.

Her face flushed bright red. “Mr. Rundell, you…”

Jared glanced down at her, noticing even her ears were turning red. His voice dropped to a husky whisper. “There are plenty of women who’d kill for a chance to see it.”

Natasha was speechless.

‘Does he really have to tease me like this?’ she thought.

Jared shot her a meaningful look. “Besides, you’ve been checking me out more than once. Tonight is your chance”

As he spoke, his long fingers moved to his belt, unfastening the clasp.

“Mr. Rundell, don’t do this… you know…” Natasha stammered as she quickly turned her head away, her cheeks burning red.

“Know what?” Jared shot back.

Natasha blurted out, “You know I have that sex addiction thing, and you’re doing this… How am I supposed to control myself?”

Jared fell silent for a few seconds behind her.

Then he spoke, his voice calm, “I’ll change in the back.”

With that, he slid into the backseat.

The sound of clothes rustling filled the car as Jared quickly changed his pants.

“Your turn!” He tapped Natasha’s shoulder. “Put the shirt on, or you’ll catch a cold.”

Natasha turned to look at him.

The moment she did, she was stunned.

Jared was completely shirtless, his honey-toned chest and abs bare for all to see.

There wasn’t a trace of fat-his eight-pack looked like it was sculpted out of stone, sharp and defined.

He wasn’t even wearing a belt, so his waistband sat loose on his hips, and that Adonis belt of his just kept going down, disappearing under the fabric.

He had a body that could make anyone lose their mind.

Natasha couldn’t help but stare, totally mesmerized.

She never expected to run into him tonight and hadn’t even taken her medication.

With him standing there half-naked like that, it was almost like he was tempting her to do something crazy.

Natasha forced herself to look away, not daring to sneak another glance.

But a rush of heat shot through her body, and she couldn’t help it.

She tried to steady her breathing, desperately forcing herself to think about anything else.

She couldn’t let herself have an episode right here in Jared’s car.

“Hurry up and change!” Jared called out from behind her.

Natasha gave a sudden shiver.

“Alright!” She nodded right away.

Natasha ducked her head and quickly began to undo her half-soaked top.

Even her bra was soaked.

But she had no intention of changing that now.

Once her top was off, she was about to pull his shirt on.

Suddenly, his hands slid around to her back-Jared’s calloused fingers traced her skin, making her shiver as if struck by lightning.

Natasha was just about to speak when she heard a sharp snap.

The clasp of her bra came undone.

“It’s all wet. You’ll catch a cold if you keep it on,” Jared said, dead serious.

But Natasha was totally caught off guard.

As her bra slipped down, her curves were suddenly on full display.

Jared’s gaze grew even darker.

Desire surged through him.

“Didn’t expect you to have real curves under that slender frame. Looks like you’re just the right fit for my hands,” Jared said. Natasha was stunned for a moment before she realized what he was implying.

Her cheeks burned as she turned her head away. “Mr. Rundell, you-”

Before she could finish, his lips claimed hers, silencing her instantly.

Natasha’s eyes flew wide in shock.

“Mr. Rundell is actually kissing me?’ she thought.

Jared kissed her with fierce urgency, his breathing quick and uneven.

He’d been dying to do this for so long.

Tonight, thanks to the rain, he finally got his wish.

Her lips were even more intoxicating than he ever dreamed.

He couldn’t stop himself-he kept coming back for more, unable to get enough of her.

He parted her lips, his hot tongue delving deep inside, exploring her mouth with hungry urgency.

“Mm…” Natasha let out a muffled moan.

She’d never been kissed like this before-so deep, so overwhelming-and soon she was left breathless.

Her body went limp, collapsing into him.

Jared took the chance to pull her into his arms.

Natasha pressed her hands against his shoulders. “Mr. Rundell, don’t…”

Jared ignored her protests completely, his hands roaming boldly over her body.

“Haven’t you been after me for ages? Tonight, I’ll make your wish come true…” Jared said.

As soon as he said that, Natasha’s mind went totally blank.

She could hardly believe what she just heard.

‘Is Mr. Rundell really saying he wants to do that with me?’ Natasha thought, her heart pounding wildly.

His lips claimed hers again before she could even catch her breath.

His touch was searing, sending waves of heat straight through her.

As she realized what he was about to do, warning bells went off in Natasha’s mind.

She gasped, her breath shaky as she tried to push him away. “No…”

Jared’s eyes grew even darker. “Really? Now, after we’ve come this far?”

A light sheen of sweat slid from his forehead down to his temples.

His sharp, handsome face was flushed with raw desire.

Natasha wasn’t just being dramatic-she knew perfectly well that once they crossed that line, nothing between them would ever be the same.

Their whole boss-and-employee dynamic would change forever.

She really didn’t want to play by those unspoken rules.

Let alone with him.

Once they crossed that line, there’d be no going back…

Natasha bit her lip. “I’m ovulating. If we do it… there’s a good chance I’ll get pregnant.”

Jared’s gaze grew even darker. “So you’re just scared of getting pregnant-not scared of sleeping with me?”
