Nina had introduced herself to me, and after hearing that I was an Alpha, she seemed to take a different kind of interest in me.

"You'll be safe here, okay?" she said, sitting me down in her bedroom.

She had helped me sneak into the guest room, and I already knew what she was doing.

She was trying to hide me from Baxter and Madeline.

"Listen, if anybody finds out who you are, they'll try to kick you out," she mumbled, pouting at me.

"I'll go get you something to eat, okay?" she said, gesturing for me not to leave the bedroom.

She had pulled the curtains over the window so that nobody could see inside and realize she had me here.

I watched as she excitedly left the room.

That was when I noticed all the books on her shelves.

She was hopelessly romantic, and one thing that stood out to me was how hard she was trying to create her own fairy tale.

She came back to the room holding a tray full of food, and I noticed the way she kept sneaking glances at me.

She was fixing her hair, and when she returned, I noticed that she had gotten all dolled up.

"You're really pretty," I said dramatically, almost dreamily.

She blushed and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"I have to go out for some work, I'll be back in one hour. Would you be fine here?" she asked in a very meek voice.

"I'll wait for you, Nina," I said in a very sexy, dramatic voice, watching her cheeks turn pink.

Of course it worked on her.

She sped out of the room. A moment later, I heard the main door slam shut, so I guessed she had left the house.

I quickly grabbed her diary from under the pillow and started reading.

She had written about some of her dreams.

One of them was to find a powerful man who would fall in love with her, someone who would see her and immediately be madly chasing after her.

Well, now I knew what I had to do.

When she came back, she was carrying donuts and other food.

"I'm not sure if werewolves have donuts, but you're gonna love the food here."
