Accidentally Pregnant By My Alpha Best friends (Madeline) novel Chapter 843

Kaylee:

For a moment, just looking at Gina almost made me scream.

How could someone I had believed was dead for so long suddenly show up alive?

It almost seemed as if the human lands had taken in every person the werewolves had rejected.

I plastered a smile on my lips because now I had to act very nice around the children.

“Daddy! Daddy, where are you?” Elara screamed until she stopped, looked at me, and scrunched her nose.

Gina was right behind her and made a gagging gesture.

“What is she doing here? She’s a bad aunt!” the two screamed in unison, and my heart sank in my chest.

I didn’t want Baxter to find out that his daughters hated me.

"Why are you screaming? I'm not doing anything to you."

I tried to calm the children, but these annoying girls were Madeline's daughters, so of course they were dramatic.

They were screaming as if I had done something to them.

"Daddy! Daddy!"

My hand started to shake as I grabbed Gina's arm and stared at her.

That was the moment Baxter walked in, and I immediately let go.

"What is going on? Why are they screaming?" I cried, covering my ears as I ran to the corner and hugged myself.

"What's going on?" Baxter asked as he immediately knelt between Gina and Elara, wrapping his arms around both of them.

"Why is she here? We don't like her. She's a bad aunt. Bad auntie!" Gina yelled, making me cringe while I pretended to be traumatized.

"Okay, come on. Calm down."

Baxter picked up both of his daughters, glanced at me, then carried them out of the room.

I didn't know what was happening.

Was he angry with me?

Was he going to believe his children?

I had completely forgotten that Madeline wasn't the only trouble I was facing.

Her bitches were here with her.

After a few minutes, Baxter walked back in, and I continued rocking back and forth.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

His voice was a little colder than before.

"Why were they screaming?" I asked, still pretending to be confused.

"They're children. Of course they remember you, Elgin, Graham, and, you know, my affair with you," he said rather coldly.

I expected him to come over and help me up, the way he'd tried to comfort me last night.
