Maggie let out a breath and couldn't help but curse, "Those damn scoundrels. So full of tricks."

Kenneth slammed his fist on the table. He was done with tea and small talk. Grabbing his jacket from the sofa, he looked at Janina.

"Look at the date. Madden came back before Damaris died. The intel Meridia gave me was wrong. I need to figure out what the hell is going on, and I need to find out where Madden is staying. I'm going to start looking now. I'll contact you if I find anything."

With that, Kenneth had already put on his jacket and was about to leave.
