“You will each have multiple opportunities to speak.”
Then he stepped aside.
Adrian was the first to take the stage.
He walked confidently to the podium, clearly enjoying the attention.
“I’m proud to announce,” he began loudly, “that I recently acquired White Real Estate.”
A few whispers spread through the room.
He smiled wider.
“Since my arrival, the company has already begun showing tremendous growth.”
He spoke about expansion, opportunities, market capture.

But something important was missing.
Numbers.
Everything he said was vague.
Speculation.
Promises.
Then he leaned forward dramatically.
“However,” he added, “White Real Estate is only the beginning.”
“I also control a second company.” 1
He paused for effect.
“I will present that company during my second time slot.”
He stepped away from the podium to polite but unimpressed applause.
Then it was my turn.
I walked calmly to the stage.
“My name is Amber Asher,” I began.
“Founder of Phoenix Ashes Conglomerate.”
I briefly presented my company’s development strategy.
Transparent investments.
Sustainable expansion.
Long-term stability.
Then I shifted the tone.
“One of the principles I believe the Asher family should follow moving forward,” I said calmly, “is more cautious investment.”
I paused.
“Allow me to give a recent example.”
Several people leaned forward.
“Just yesterday,” I continued, “I sold the last shares I held in a company called Foodiex.”
That got attention. 1
“They currently rent several of my properties.”
The moment the words left my mouth-
Adrian shot up from his chair.
The legs scraped loudly against the floor.
“That’s a lie!” he shouted.
He slammed both hands onto the table so hard that glasses rattled.

“You’re lying!”
His face was red with fury.
“You’re trying to manipulate the market!”
I looked at him calmly from the stage.
“As I was saying,” I continued, my tone even, “Foodiex currently operates several of its restaurant hubs in buildings owned by my company.”
Adrian pointed at me.
“You’re making this up!”
“And based on their financial structure,” I continued without raising my voice, “the company will begin losing money very soon.”
“THAT’S A LIE!”
His shout echoed through the ballroom.
“You have no idea what you’re talking about!”
He slammed the table again.
“Foodiex is making millions!”
